The Company

We are a leading creative construction group, providing environments that allow our clients to thrive at trade shows, corporate events and brand experiences. We are looking to appoint a Telesales Executive on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role

As a telesales executive you will be part of a growing team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Business Development, you will be responsible for generating prospective clients and maximise the effectiveness of sales by producing high quality leads and working towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

This is a part time role, total of 10 hours per week. Please note the role will be mostly home based, however our offices are in Berkhamsted Hertfordshire and you may be required to commute here on occasions.

Preferred hours of work will be between 10am and 3pm as this is deemed the optimal time to make calls to prospects.

Timesheet to be completed and sent to Head of Marketing and Business Development on a fortnightly basis.

Main duties will include:

• Identifying new clients, appraising on our services
• Plan your telesales activities
• Work with CRM database to generate leads and re purpose existing contacts
• Lead processing and updating
• Follow up sales enquiries
• Log calls on the CRM system
• Complete all call back requests
• Maintain an agreed number of outbound cold calls per week
What you'll need to succeed
• You must have previous experience of working to targets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Customer focused and a passion to deliver results
• Exceptional telephone manner
• A confident but polite approach – many members of our industry are still remote working, therefore the ability to navigate the challenges this can present and secure calls with key individuals

Pre-requisites

• At least 1-2 years’ experience within a sales environment, ideally within the Event sector
• Proven knowledge and experienced use of MS Office
• Attention to detail and quality of work
• Confident telephone manner
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to travel as required
• Team player
• Able to prioritise workload and operate effectively and efficiently where issues need to be resolved in a timely manner, and within the allocated hours
• Well organised and able to guide and liaise with customers with a firm and assured manner
