Sorry for taking so long to get through orders everyone, I've just started a new med (for preventing cancer returning) and I'm struggling with exhaustion at the moment. I promise I am getting through them just very, very slowly. Sorry xx

Please note that I have (understandably) had an influx of orders since announcing our closure at the end of 2024. As it currently stands it will take me over 1 month to clear what is currently in my order bank. Please bear this in mind when ordering. However if you do need something super urgent, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Important announcement from Angi at Blanks For Stamping

It is with regret that I am announcing, at the end of this year, the permanent closure of Blanks For Stamping.
The main reason is my recent health issues meaning I no longer have the energy to put in the hours that are needed to run B4S as well as my jewellery business. In addition, because of many months of Cancer treatment I have problems with my nails lifting and the tips of my fingers are painful which makes sanding for hours very difficult.
I thought it best to give plenty of notice to allow people to find alternative components for their designs, I’m also guessing that some people may want to stock up on a few Pewter blanks before I close so this avoids a sudden rush and me getting in a panic! Please if you do wish to place a big order I ask that you be super patient with me. I will get there it will just take me time (possibly months in some instances).
We are also away trading most weekends during the Summer until the middle of September which means even longer lead time for blanks.
I started Blanks For Stamping around 10 years ago and like a few others at the time we filled a gap for quality blanks when there was little choice in the UK, I was fed up paying courier and custom charges importing them for my jewellery business, so I made my own. I always tried to bring something different so as not to compete but rather to compliment my fellow suppliers, I hope I achieved that

Hi all, just a quick one to let you know any orders placed this week (w/c 29/04/24) will be processed the following week as I've got a bit of a backlog of orders to get though and show prep for my jewellery brand to do before I go on Honeymoon

Just a heads up that the website will be closed for 3 weeks from 12th May for a break

Website prices have now been updated. Most items came down in price, some by quite a bit, a few stayed the same and there were a couple of very small items that have gone up but only by a couple of pennies. I needed to simplify things and prices are now based on a set casting fee plus cost of raw materials multiplied by weight which is the most fair way. 10% discount will now be applied to 50 of the same item saving you a bit more. I have added a few of my most popular listings to the bulk buy section of the website but it would have taken for ever to list them all so I will add them as people request them. If anything doesn't work or looks a bit funky please let me know. . Hugs and shinyness Angi

Price List Update.
I needed to restructure my pricelist to make it much clearer going forward.
What this means is website prices for blanks will be changing, however for once this is not a price increase quite the opposite in most cases actually! 😁
I wanted it to be much cheaper for people who purchase unfinished blanks, the new prices are based on a fix casting fee plus the cost of materials, when I use this formula all Raw cast prices have reduced 😁
The polished price is 25%, e.g unfinished blank costing £1 raw cast will be £1.25 polished, Most polished prices have also gone down but there are a few that have gone up but only by a couple of pence.
Discounts: This is a tough one as I can't offer bigger discounts, at the end of the day it's not like my laser cutter where I can hit the button and cut 100 shapes, every Pewter blank is cast by me, each one takes me the same time whether I am casting 5 or 500, however I do want to offer something so I am bringing the threshold that I give 10% down from 100 to 50, this means that you can still benefit from a nice little discount whilst not needing to order so many at once.
I have a lot to do on the website to make these changes and will be doing them hopefully over bank holiday weekend
Also in other news I've had my machinery all refurbished so we are good to go and grow the range of Pewter blanks which I'm very excited about

Things are starting to get back to my 'new normal' after 18 months of treatment woohoo!
My 30 yr old vulcaniser which has been causing me so much trouble has had some TLC with a major overhaul, so today I'm praying to the mould making gods as I test it out for the 1st time. Wish me luck 🤞 🍀

I've still got hormone therapy for 5 years which make me feel about 90 years old but that's pretty much it for active treatment.
I've still got a long way to go with rehabilitation but at least I can start to build myself back up again. 🏃
I'm also now allowed out the country so am looking forward to booking a little break away somewhere hot next month ☀ 🍹 xx

So I don't risk any orders getting lost in the rather chaotic post this time of year I will be closing the Blanks shop on Friday 8th Dec and reopening 1st Jan 2024

Hi all, just checking in with you all ♥
I'm still here making shiny stuff, just keeping a little quiet on the socials as I'm still undergoing Cancer treatment, just working reduced hours for now so orders are taking me a little longer at the moment but hopefully not for too much longer.
Fingers crossed only a couple more months of active treatment to go, I can already see a light at the end of the tunnel ☀

We're back open again!
The move went very well, so now we have a fabulous clean room for stock, assembly and packing and a grubby room where all the casting and sanding happens.

Hi guys & girls, I'm now all up to date with orders so am using the opportunity to move my Jewellery & casting workshops to their new buildings. This means that my Pewter casting room will be out of action for about a week while I make the move (there's a lot of stuff and it all needs a deep clean) I have closed the website for now and will re-open it on Monday 25th September.

I know I've been a little quiet as chemo is giving me a bit of a bumpy ride but I'm still here making shiny Pewter Blanks, thank you to everyone being patient with me while I work reduced hours. There's things going on in the background here ready for when I get out the other side. I am currently having a new Pewter Casting workshop built I can't wait! I've also been investing in new equipment so I have backup casting equipment as well as top of the range sanding equipment which is an absolute delight to use. I now have my sights on saving up for a new vulcaniser but this may be a while yet as they are many thousands but hey we all need goals right?!

Hi all, just a quick update for you
I've just finished 15 rounds of Radiotherapy but just started back on Chemotherapy which is every 3 weeks for about 10 months. So another little victory but still a way to go. As such my turnaround time will remain at 10-14 days for most orders. If your order is super urgent give me a nudge & I'll try and sort it quicker. Very large orders are taking me longer than usual as I'm working reduced hours having said that if doing partial deliveries helps get you out of a pickle let me know. Thanks for sticking with me, I will beat this thing and can't wait to come out the other side dancing x

Little (well actually huge) update for ya ...
I had surgery about 3 weeks ago to remove the lymph nodes on the cancer side (this is like a highway for the cancer to travel to other places) in the 15 nodes removed only 2 had Cancer and of those the chemo had done a good job of nuking them. What this means is that although I have the most aggressive type of cancer it didn't have a chance to travel far and what was there in the nodes has been removed.
Now there's still a bit of a clear up to do for any stray cells (I'm starting radiotherapy in a few weeks, then just under a years worth of a (hopefully) milder chemo, then 10 years of a hormone treatment which reduce my chances of reacurrance but all in all...
I AM BEATING CANCER'S SORRY UNWELCOMED ARSE!!
I'm still on a go slow so will be opening up the website again at the weekend and orders will have a 2 week turnaround (small and unfinished will be quicker, large orders may take longer)

Just a quick note to let you all know I have another surgery in a few days so will be out of action for a couple of weeks to recover. I currently have orders for over 800 polished blanks outstanding so there's going to be a bit of a delay I'm afraid. Sorry lovelies x

Please don't comment on this post it is just an FYI

Unfortunately after the operation they still found Cancer cells both in the margin of where the tumour was as well as in the lymph node that they removed.
Because of this I now have a lot more treatment ahead of me.
I will be having another operation to clear the lymph nodes on my left side in a few weeks then I will have Radiotherapy every day for 3 weeks as well as 14 rounds of chemo every 3 weeks.
All in all that makes about another year of treatment which I am totally crushed about as I really thought I was coming to the end of treatment.
The shop will remain open as I will be working around my treatment, but I do ask you to be allow plenty of time for your order to be made, my lead time will stay at 10-14 days for now.
On the plus side, look at my new hair 😁

Angi Update
Although Chemo has finished for now some of my ongoing treatments are giving me a few problems, my bones & muscles are painful thanks to a treatment that stops Cancer spreading into my bones so not doing much as it hurts to move but I know it will be worth it.
On the plus side:
💙 I got my date for surgery 5th Jan which us equally amazing and terrifying!
💛 I've spotted a tiny patch of new fuzz on my head!!
❤ I'm still here!!!
I've got an exciting year next year both in business and my personal life, so plan to keep kicking Cancer's arse. 🎄 Merry Christmas all from Angi x

Thank you for everyone's well wishes and patience. Getting Covid really messed things up but I finally had my 1st chemo session on Friday so am currently resting up a lot now (this is me having a sofa day) I'm doing little bits here and there when I can, I've nearly got through all outstanding orders last 2 should go out mid to end of this week.

Another sorry, for those that have placed orders there will be a further delay I'm afraid as I tested postage for Covid a couple of days ago and am suffering breathing difficulties with it so not able to do anything for a little while until this thing sods off.
This has delayed starting my chemo, althought not ideal I was told it was better to have it now than when on Chemo, so at least there's a bright side to this story. Keep shining bright everyone, back soon. Angi xx

I am sorry guys and girls I need to close up for a bit, I start chemo this week and with the volume of blanks orders I need to get done and numerous hospital appointments I am having a bit of a meltdown so I am going to give myself some time, be back soon xx

Hi all, a couple of days ago I had awful news that I have breast cancer and will be starting chemo shortly after that surgery then more chemo.
I will be keeping the shop open for now and for as long as I can, but please note that my lead time will now be 10-14 days as I will be getting help from others while I am not up to it.
I have added a note on my home page as well as the order confirmations with the new lead times and ask that for now you allow plenty of time for your orders
