LOCAL ELECTIONS TODAY
I would like to pay tribute to all candidates that put themselves forward in local elections…discussing your political and party views in private is quite different to airing those views publicly and asking for residents support at the ballot box.
Candidates are all united in the experience and the challenge, despite our political differences.
So my message is simply to request residents make that all important visit to the polling station and make your vote count 👍 Obviously I have a bias towards 💙😊
I also sincerely hope that once a councillor, you remain true to the group or wholly independent stance you have presented!
Voters deserve nothing less!
For a strong voice for Orton Longueville - Vote Ekta Patel on May 2nd!!
I have spoken to most of the residents and in the short time I have picked up on many issues and concerns around the ward.
Residents have called me and raised issues that are now in progress.
I am overwhelmed with the warmth some residents have shown me - especially on those very cold evenings when some have invited me into their homes to warm up- I will always be grateful for this 🙏🏻

Fly- tipping reported - looks like broken car parts from a collision - piled up at the entrance of Braybrook and Kirkstall. Atleast it’s been piled up and not on the road - so Thankyou to whoever did that.

We know it’s been a tough time for family finances, but things have turned a corner this year and today energy prices fall to their lowest in 24 months - with the average annual bill cut by almost £240.
The National Living Wage is increasing by more than £1 for the first time, providing a boost for 2.7 million low-paid workers.
Hi All, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the leads of the Vivacity well-being walks — a lot of residents have asked about joining these: please visit the below website to look at the group walks near you - these are FREE🙌🏼
Wellbeing walks Enjoy the great outdoors! This low impact exercise is a great way to build muscle strength and stability, meet new people and enjoy the local scenery.
Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. I hope you are all having a great time this weekend
And Keir Starmer says Labour-run Wales is a 'blueprint' for how he’d run Britain 🥴
There's been lots of coverage about the NHS today - all of it focused on England.
You’d think it was brilliant in Labour-run Wales.
You’d be wrong.
Here’s the truth about the NHS with the Conservatives vs. under Labour 👇
Braybrook entrance flytipping which had been there for a while - this has now been cleared off 🙌🏼
I spotted this whilst I was out and addressed it!!
We all need to report flytipping for it to be cleared off as soon as possible!

Been out to Braybrook this cold evening …met some lovely residents and Thankyou to a few that invited me into their home to get warmed up as I was alone - I am really touched to their families.
Reported the flytipping that’s been there for a while just as we enter into Braybrook - I have come to know this is a private owned area - I will need to look into this further.
