Here's a quick guide on our first attempt at grafting our apple trees. This is one of our late Dad's favourite apples and it's certainly one of ours too.

The ladybirds come inside to hibernate in October. Adult ladybirds spend winter in a dormant state, known as 'overwintering'. During March and April Adult ladybirds become active and leave their overwintering sites to find food.
We've helped them travel to the greenhouse. Ladybirds, like butterflies, undergo complete metamorphosis. Their life cycle comprises of a pupal stage, in which the grub-like larva transforms into the adult beetle
Ladybirds are predatory feeding on aphids and scale insects. They can help keep these insects under control in a natural way
