We are back from holiday!

Our small birthday cake is perfect for a more intimate occasion. We love the idea of adding brownie bites on top, looks so delicious. It’s vegan made up of dark chocolate, coconut oil and oat milk, a new vegan ganache recipe that we tested and approved!

It’s summer, hot and we ❤️ blueberries! Here’s your chance to grab a slice with our Original Afternoon Tea box or just ask us to order a big one to share around.

We wish you a very happy 81st birthday! Thank you for making us a part of auntie’s birthdays for years, we love how special she feels when she opens the door to see her Cakey box.

Time to reveal our cake of the month: cheery and almond slice with a brown sugar buttercream.

These were part of last weekend’s event and people really enjoyed them.

The cake itself is a light sponge cake with fresh cherries from our cherry tree (not going to last very long red on the tree and I’ll have to pick the rest today before they go too black). The buttercream is lightly whipped with a mix of brown sugar butter and icing for a different sweet flavour.

Wow what an amazing weekend we had at

Wanted to take a moment to say how much we have appreciated you all taking an interest in our Cream Tea to Go box. We sold out on both days and were not prepared for the rush (did you catch Sammy pouring jam into pots like a robot!?!).

Met lots of people, saw many customers and ate delicious things from the stalls near us.

Many thanks to Simon and Vee for putting together a very well organised event - we will be back next year with even more cream teas to go and sweet treats.

Day 2, here we go

We had a super day at today. Sammy only just now done in our Cakey kitchen so tomorrow our stall doesn’t look so empty from the start!

Thank you to everyone who came by today and to our friends and loyal customers. It’s always lovely to see you and have a quick chat!

Hello folks!

Following a medical procedure I’m not able to make afternoon teas next week, doctor’s orders! All is well but rest is much needed. I have been contacting everyone who booked in advance and will be making notes of emails and messages to reply when possible.

Thank you for your patience. Although I’d love to continue baking I’m not allowed to bend and move about.

You can book now on our website for a delivery from May 21 Tuesday.
