Assistive Bathing

We wanted to brighten your Wednesday by sharing a heartwarming story which has touched the hearts of many in the head office. Last week we went out for a bathroom design visit to a Mr Norman, who shared his incredible story with us:

In 2020 Neil Norman (93) sadly lost his partner Anne to covid. She had suffered from Alzheimer's for four years, a cruel disease which saw the loss of Anne's identity. After a deep depression following Anne's death, Mr Norman decided to do something positive to change his life!

Inspired by Sir Captain Tom, Mr Norman decided to raise money for Alzheimer's Society by walking 100 laps around his courtyard (Neil has limited mobility), the equivalent of half a marathon.

Since then, he has completed 115 laps and raised over £6000 for Alzheimer's society. We were touched by his story and donated £250 to his cause. We want to spread awareness of his fantastic work.
