He enjoys writing and speaking and is an active member of Swindon Speakers Club.

He is also the owener of Carl Jones Speaker, a new business that he is growing. This business is about supporting and educating those who have an interest in the Emergency Services and what the effect Stress and PTSD has on the people who work on the front line.
