With additional inscriptions we carefully plan the design by taking a rubbing of the existing inscription and then use measurements of the letters, spaces and lines to ensure we can match (or get as close as we can) the new inscription to the existing inscription.

Part Time Sales Consultant

A job opportunity has arisen for a new member of staff to work in our Sudbury office on Brundon Lane.

The company sells mainly memorials but we also sell other miscellaneous stone items as well as Acrylic plaques. The successful applicant will be required to liaise with members of the public (face to face, telephone and email), suppliers, cemeteries and churches; dealing with all necessary paperwork, and also liaise with our Production Team. Occasional cover at our Braintree office may be required.

The work will require you to enter information onto Word and Excel documents and you will also be trained to use our bespoke customer management system.

Key Competencies Required:
1. A relaxed manner when dealing with customers.
2. Good literacy and numeracy skills.
3. Be self-motivated and have a good work ethic.
4. A basic knowledge of Word and ability to enter information into Excel.

Hours:
Although negotiable, the company is looking for a person to be in the sales office from 10am to 5pm, four days a week with half hour lunch break. There may be opportunity for additional hours when there is a business reason for those to be undertaken and would be decided in discussion with yourself.

Pay:
Starting at £11.50 per hour, PAYE, to be reviewed following 6 month probationary period. Payable on 25th of the month.

Did you know….Since 1997, Neil has held the prestigious post of in-house stonemason at Highgate Cemetery, which contains some of the finest funerary architecture in the country. In that time, Neil has created and designed memorials for illustrious figures including artist Patrick Caulfield, Dame Beryl Bainbridge, and actress Jean Simmons.
