The company are currently researching and developing the Glamping Project - consisting of a play and It’s Gordon and Celia’s wedding anniversary.
The Glamping Project consists of Murray Lachlan Young's second play The Ballad of Running Stag and a companion anti-play which will exist on line. The production starts its research and development in Exeter on the 17th March. Windswept's first show was 'The Incomers', a hideously entertaining black farce in which four friends are slowly stripped of all their pretensions and secrets. The play is s
et as a full moon rises over a remote, windswept cottage. The children are in bed, wine is breathing nicely and the dinner is in the oven. They’ve asked their oldest and dearest friends Zach and Jane down from London. The only problem is that Zach and Jane aren’t Zach and Jane anymore. Jane has gone and Julia – the 25-year-old, French burlesque dancer, has taken her place. What starts as a simple celebration quickly descends into farce as devastating revelations unravel, until it becomes perfectly and painfully clear that no one has been telling the truth for a very long time.
