‘Costs are out of control’: small UK music venues struggle to stay open

This rings very true in Liverpool where, on September 30th, we said goodbye to the excellent Jimmy’s venue. Yet another venue gone, another avenue for bands to perform their songs. It’s getting worse by the year - get out there , see the bands you like and occasionally take a chance and see a band you don’t know. A world without new music is a frightening place to imagine. The bands do their bit, can you say you do yours?

Its been a while.............

So, here's an update. Work is progressing on our 4thh album 'Radio Silence' with several tracks now completed/near completion. More are in various stages of writing (we never could work on one song at a time!) and hopefully we will have a new single to share with you all soon. Its been a real joy so far for all of us to be back working on new material. We've also looked back and some newer versions of old classics may appear on here soon. Looking forward is great, but occasionally nostalgia has its place too.

Flight have contributed two tracks to three albums which aim to raise money for breast cancer charities.

A new song ‘Lights Down’ and erosion of an older song ‘The Ocean’, from the album ‘5 Days in Astrakhan’, which features Glasnost on vocals.
