I have made the decision to have a break from social media. Whilst I love social media my number 1 priority has always been my family. My mum had a bad fall recently and fractured her hip. She’s in hospital at the moment and thankfully is is slowly on the mend after her surgery.
So that I can spend time with my mum and dad whilst she’s in hospital and give them both more support when she comes home I have decided to take a break from social media to free up some time.

When you are having a tough time it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, when you look back on the situation you can often see that you've grown stronger because of it. If you're going through a tough time at the moment hold on to the fact that one day it will be a memory.
Stress Management Tip - Setting priorities will help you spend time on the things that are important to you.

I've been self-employed for many years but 4 years ago I decided I wanted a change and went back to school to study to become a coach. It was way out of my comfort zone but it meant I found my PASSION. I'm now honoured to be able to help other people succeed. I love seeing people build thriving businesses all from the comfort of their own home.
Remember, age is just a number, don't let it stop you doing the one thing you've always wanted. Live each day to the max and go out and make I happen.

Stress Management Tip - Write down your thoughts and feelings.
Stress is a natural part of life it's how you deal with it that matters. Keeping a journal is a great way to reflect on things that have happened and process your feelings. It's also great for looking back on. Sometimes when you're going through a difficult time, you can forget the good things that have happened. By reading your journal it can help spark memories of a more positive time.

I'm lucky to have some great friends that have stuck with me through many ups and downs. I'm also lucky that one of my best friends is also my husband.

Don't give up. You can do this!
Running your own business from home isn't easy but it's worth the effort. Keep moving forward and you'll get there.

Fear of failure can be a big reason why people don't achieve as much as they are capable of. How do you feel when things don't work out as you've planned? Do you use it as a learning opportunity or as a reason to stop?

I'm never going to give up. Are you?
There are times in my life that I've felt like giving up on my dream and I'm so glad that I didn't. Sometimes things come along to challenge you and it can be tempting to think that there isn't anything you can do but give up. If it's something you still want, I'm here to tell you can do it if you if you don't give up. Use the challenge or issue as a learning opportunity, get support if you need you and keep moving forward.
If opportunity doesn't KNOCK. Build a door!
Don't wait around for the right opportunity to just jump in your lap. Go out and find it. You are in control of your destiny.
