๐ธCongratulations to the 45s on once again reaching the final stages of the competition. They played Hampshire in the semi finals winning 11 - 1 and then Yorkshire in the final unfortunately just losing.
In Annaโs words:
โWe lost the final 4-8 with 6 matches going to 3 ends which could have gone our way another day - we worked really hard & certainly gave York a hard time! Very proud of the whole team!โ๐ธ
๐ธMore fab news!!๐ธ
Congratulations to the 45s clear winners of the South East Division having won all their matches. We wish them success at the National Finals weekend where they first face Hampshire as they fight to retain their National winners title ๐๐ผ
๐A huge well done to the U19โs today who have been competing in the Shires Finals day at Loughborough University and came an incredible 4th place! ๐๐ผ๐ธ๐๐ผ
(29 counties competed in the league, top 8 made it to the finals!)
An amazing, exciting, exhausting day for this fab team! (Who were also sadly missing injured player Dewi ๐ข)
Thank you to the parents who came to support and transport team members up today, and to Andrew for coaching ๐๐ผ
A fantastic end to the season ๐ธ๐ช๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ธ
An amazing performance from all our players representing Sussex at this years ICT in Nottingham. They played superbly well and finished 17th out of 29 teams. We had a very tough first box with Hertfordshire and Nottingham and for a team with 7 new players to the ICT extravaganza it was always going to be a tough ask to win those 2 matches. However, by then dropping into the bottom half of the draw we then had matches against counties who also had lost in their first matches and won the 6 remaining matches convincingly.
It was fantastic to see the players grow both on the courts and socially as well.
We hope they all enjoyed it and for a few thereโs next years event to start dreaming of.
Well done team Sussex and thank you to the parents and Harvey & Leo who travelled to support the team too.
Great work everyone! ๐

Another fantastic U19 win for Sussex against Middlesex this afternoon. Final score 16-4 ๐๐ผ Well done Sussex! ๐๐ธ
The U12s were on court for their third outing of the season, at Westgate Badminton Centre in Wi******er, against Wiltshire. A noticeably improved Sussex team played an incredibly competitive match, taking Wiltshire to the wire, but some strong performances from Wiltshire just gave them the edge and an 11-9 victory. Not to be disheartened, Sussex left in high spirits, excited about their next match. Well done U12s on all your hard work - it's clear the match experience is motivating the team, and it's really paying off ๐๐ผ๐ธ
Congratulations to all of the Sussex age groups who took part in the Masters County Challenge back in January.
