A full weekend of racing ahead of us this weekend at Teesside with rounds 4 & 5 of the sprint series on the National layout as well as Monday's pre-24hr test on the International layout!
We return from GYG with 4 class wins & a further 6 podiums from the two days of racing!
MS Soco Select took the outright win on Saturday with MS HDI bouncing back from a DQ in qualifying to win in Clubman.
Also in the trophies were MS Lucas (Elite P3), TSM (Super P2), Team Keane (Super P3) & MS Scorchio (Pro P2)
Sunday saw TSM win in Super Pro & MS Scorchio take the Pro class win, both teams going one better than their Saturday finishes!
MS Soco Select finished in P2 overall & MS URBN Blue added a P2 in class to extend their class championship lead!
A trip to North Wales is on the cards as we head to Glan-Y-Gors for two more rounds of the BPEC championship!
We've got 12 teams in the awning this weekend & plenty more teams running independently representing the MS KART Czech Republic name!

FOUR PODIUM LOCKOUTS IN TREMENDOUS TEESSIDE TROPHY HAUL
In Senior Prokart the Pro class saw Connor Lucas extend his run of final victories as he headed home Joe Grinsell & Max Shields.
Behind them Sam Barratt came home 4th overall & topped the Clubman class as he held off George Ludwell with Brandan Jennings completing the podium.
The novice class saw it’s third different winner in as many rounds as Macauley Parnham took the top step from Zak Dawson & James Kay.
Juniors saw a maiden Teesside victory for Lucas Racing protégé Rhys Cranstoun following an intense race long battle with Isaac Duff & Joseph Williamson.
In the Rotax classes, Oscar Warr battled hard throughout the day taking two Junior heat wins, ending the final in P3 & in Senior there were more trophies as Pip Morris & Owen Marquis finished 2nd & 3rd respectively.
After a month off due to no meeting in May we head back to Teesside this weekend for Round 3 of the Sprint Series!
Podiums a plenty for MS KART Czech Republic at Rowrah for Round 5 of BPEC.
MS SoCo Select ran the winners close, coming home only 5 seconds off after 12hrs of racing, they were joined on the podium by the #42 Lucas Racing.
MS Harris had arguably the drive of the day, taking 6th overall & the Pro Class win from Raceview.
TSM took their second consecutive Super Pro win with Team Keane also taking home silverware!
The picturesque circuit of Rowrah in Cumbria awaits our 13 teams for the 5th round of the BPEC Championship!

THREE CLASS VICTORIES ON DAY 2 AT ELLOUGH PARK!
TSM followed up their Saturday Super Pro class pole position with another on Sunday before going on to take their first win in Super Pro with a classy drive to P5 overall. Joining them on the Super Pro podium was Team Keane.
There were further wins for MS KART Czech Republic machinery in Pro as MS URBN Blue followed up on Saturday win by JDM to take the top spot on the podium from MS Scorchio.
B.A.D. Racing rounded out the trio of winners with a fine in Clubman & 17th overall, equaling the highest overall finish for a Clubman team in 2024!
A BRACE OF CLASS WINS FOR LUCAS RACING MACHINERY
JDM & MS Harris Racing topped the order in the Pro with 6th & 7th overall giving them the top 2 steps on the class podium.
In Super Pro it was Team Keane taking the victory after TSM had earlier put the 181 kart on class pole in qualifying, as did B.A.D Racing in the Clubman class.
All eyes are now on round 4 tomorrow with qualifying at 9:30 & the race starting at 10:30!

TEESSIDE SPRINT SERIES ROUND 2 RESULTS ROUND-UP
After a dry Saturday practice, the paddock awoke to a very wet Teesside on Sunday morning.
With the Juniors & Senior Prokarters split for this round & full random grid for the Senior drivers rather than the inter-class split of round 1, it threw up a superb days racing.
Juniors saw an intense 3-way battle at the front in the final with Jared Fox-Whiteley taking the spoils from Isaac Duff & Rhys Cranstoun.
In the Seniors it was a dominant display by Connor Lucas who took victory in all three heats & the final, leading home Max Shields & Joe Grinsell in the Pro Class.
Ike Needham finished a sensational 3rd overall on his way to winning the Clubman class with Danny Bean & Flynn Claxton joining him on the podium, the latter having qualified on the front row for the final after some exceptional heats.
Fastest lap in the final went to Sam Barratt who narrowly missed out on the clubman podium.
Zak Dawson was the victor in the Novice class ahead of Conor Crann & Gary Clarke and in the two-stroke classes, Max Wilkinson took his MS chassis to P3 in Junior Rotax!

BPEC ROUND 2 ROUNDUP!
We start our roundup of Shenington in the Pro Class where MS Harris Racing took a fantastic class win, holding off MS URBN Pink by less than 4-seconds in an MS 1-2.
In Super Pro there was a maiden podium for TSM, a superb achievement in only their second race in the class.
The Clubman class also yielded a podium for MS machinery as B.A.D Racing came home in P3 & finally in the Elite class, the #43 MS SoCo Select kart came home for their first podium of the season!
It's back to BPEC this weekend as we head to Shenington in Oxfordshire for Round 2 & we have 14 teams racing out of the Lucas Racing awning!
Last weekend Lucas Racing made its was over to Teesside for the first of 9 rounds over 7 weekends which ended in an impressive haul of trophies for MS KART drivers.
Prokart was won overall by Connor Lucas, followed home by Pro class newbie Max Shields with Joe Grinsell completing the podium.
The Clubman class saw another MS podium lockout with Brandon Jeninngs an impressive 5th overall & class winner in front of Sebastian Parreira & Ike Needham.
Novice saw Teesside debutant Conor Crann leave with the winners trophy, joining him on the podium was Zak Dawson & another debutant Macauley Parnham.
Juniors completed a fantastic clean sweep of Prokart podium places with the impressive Jared Fox-Whiteley ending the day 13th overall with Rhys Cranstoun & Isaac Duff in 2nd & 3rd respectively.
In the two-stroke classes there was success in Senior Rotax for winner Monroe Rennard who shared the podium with stablemate Pip Morris!
The first round of the Teesside Sprint Series is upon us this weekend with over 30 Junior & Senior Prokarts signed on already!
A wet day at Whilton Mill comes to an end with an overall podium for MS Lucas in 3rd place along with superb class wins in Super Pro for Team Keane & in Pro for MS URBN Blue who were joined on the podium by MS Scorchio!
The first of nine 6hr races making up the 2024 BPEC season is upon us this weekend at Whilton Mill.
We look forward to welcoming 16 Teams join us in the Lucas Racing awning for the curtain raiser!
Earlier this week we said our final goodbyes to Ange Hutchinson.
Ange was the heart & soul of the British Prokart Endurance Championship but more importantly she was a dear friend to so many of us.
Our hearts go out to Bob & the boys at this difficult time and whilst the BPEC paddock won't be the same without Ange, we will race on in her memory & BPEC will forever be her legacy.

TEESSIDE WINTER SERIES – GYG
Despite the rain it was still an enjoyable weekend in North Wales as the Teesside Winter Series culminated at GYG.
Senior Prokart saw an MS podium lockout with Connor Lucas taking the win & securing the winter championship, he was followed home by Max Shields & Brandon Jennings.
Juniors saw Rhys Cranstoun taking the win having won heat 1 outright as well against the slick running seniors. He was joined on the podium by Max Mannion.
There was also success for the MS 2-stroke chassis in both Senior & Junior Rotax. Monroe Rennard secured the Senior Rotax championship with a fine drive to 3rd place on the day & Oscar was did enough in Juniors to take 2nd in the championship, adding to this 3rd place from the summer series!
