Hats are timeless, they’ve been around for a very long time! Don’t think you can’t go back in time. In the fashion world, we know we most certainly can!

It’s been a while…

We know we’ve been silent across our socials lately, but that’s because of you wonderful people keeping us so busy!

We took a much needed break last week.
Over the last 6 months we’ve worked very long hours and we just needed to catch our breath.

We’ve received a variety of offers as a business, a couple of things we regrettably passed on due to unavoidable circumstances. I’m sure we’ll see those opportunities come around again.

For the lovely people who have sent messages and emails we will come back to you over the next day or two. Bear with us please.

Our growing business is learning how to adapt to the increased demand in all areas of TMD. Stay beautiful and kind to us.

What a beautiful and busy Ladies Day.

Firstly, the weather has been lovely!

On top of it being such a wonderful day for us at our amazing hotel locations. The beautiful Claire then goes and tops off the day with this well deserved win! Isn’t she beautiful.

We promise to share all of the fun we’ve had and wonderful images we’ve taken across the race days. We’ll share them Sunday.

But tomorrow we go again! It’s the big race! Grand National we love this city!

Our beautiful headbands are perfect for all ages.

This is one of the items we will be selling from Liverpool Hotel locations over Aintree week. Packaged beautifully in a pearl handled, vanity case box.

The TMD Team will be styling these headbands up over the week of Aintree. They’re so easy to wear and we’ve designed them slightly chunkier to give more of a statement look.

One of my favourite pieces actually. It’s a perfect wedding, races, summer holiday or alfresco summer dining piece.

Every time I try on a hat, I envisage a scenario. That’s how my creative brain works.

I want to do more than just sell beautiful headwear.

In my ideal world, I want my designs to be sold with as much imagination and detail as possible.

I’m not just talking about the design of the hat itself. I’m talking about all of the other elements that create feelings and emotions.

Visuals. Images. Style. Location. Sound. Beauty. Touch. Smell. They all have an impact on our experience. I sound absolutely mad! What can I say, I’m in love with the work I do. I just want others to experience it in the way I see it.

And we now have the unbelievable opportunity to create an “experiential shopping” event across all three days of the Grand National.

Hilton Liverpool, Hilton DoubleTree and Innside Melia will provide us with idyllic backdrops to bring you this special event. Not forgetting a special location at Cruise Liverpool too.

I was planning an early dart yesterday, but my hat passion wouldn’t let me leave! I just had to block this lovely crown before I left.

This baby is sitting pretty until I can get my hands on it tomorrow. The brim will be blocked separately for this design. Once they’ve had time to rest, they will be stitched together to form one beautiful piece.

For those not familiar with hat making processes. Fabrics are steamed, stretched and formed over wooden blocks to give them their shape. Isn’t that wonderful! I love my job.

Lots of red love around our beautiful city at the moment. At the weekend we walked through lit up streets of red, celebrating the Chinese New year. And now we head towards Valentine’s Day ❤️
