My love of music combined with my love of the beautiful Italian language was my inspiration for the name Amore Music.
Both of my grandfathers played a musical instrument. One was Champion Penny Whistle player of all Ireland, and the other was a violinist in a Birmingham band. So my passion for making music must be inherited!
While I was studying for a Bachelor of Music degree at the Birmingham Conservatoire I was very lucky to be given the opportunity to play the piano and violin at concerts and weddings, and I was resident pianist at a Champagne and Piano Bar in Birmingham.
Since then I enjoy playing piano and violin regularly at weddings, parties, proposals, dinners, and funerals across the West Midlands. Playing the piano on a cruise ship around Norway, Sweden and Finland was also a wonderful highlight, and an experience I’ll never forget.
I have been giving children and adults piano and violin lessons for over 10 years and pupils have passed their ABRSM, Trinity, and LCM exams with me, from Grade 1 to Grade 8, and diploma level. I also enjoy providing piano accompaniment to opera singers, violinists, woodwind players and other instrumentalists for exams, recitals, concerts and festivals.
