Oh, we had loads of fun tonight.

The idea behind tonight's lesson, was to look at the intent of the final strike in Kumi Tachi.
All to often people talk about theory, but I think sometimes it's good to put theory into practice. Plus we had loads of fun.

Here are just a few videos of what we done. More videos in comments.

Also I would to thank Daniel Rennocks for kindly donating this awsome body training suit. Such high quality.

I look forward using it on one of our Saturday Sessions.

On the 4th March 2019 we started Nishikaigan Aikido Club, and today (a bit early) we celebrated 5 years.

We started with just 4 members and after 4 weeks was probably looking at closing the club down.
Then came some of the best students you could imagine.

Students have come and gone but each of them made there mark and were appreciated by the club.

We've had some great visiting sesnseis over the years and would always like to see them back when they can.

In March 2023 Nishikaigan Aikido Association was born and is just going from strength to strength.

Today we welcomed some old friends onto the mat and would always like to welcome new friends.

The youngest unofficial member of Nishikaigan Aikido Association Bethany Prime aged 9 has chosen to do a charitable event. If you feel in your heart you would like to inspire a young aikidoka to help others then please follow the link on this post.

Thank you.

Calling all my Facebook friends our Bethany has decided that she would love to help The Little Princess Trust charity. So in the Easter holidays she will be having her hair cut short and donating approx 12 inches of hair to this charity so they can make a wig for a child that has lost there hair through cancer treatment.

Here is a link to a just giving page where you can make a donation and can find out more about the charity.

I know we just had an expensive time of year but please give what you can.

Thank you so much
