Kitchen Candles
Hand poured & Highly Fragranced Soy Candles. To Order Message The Page Directly Or Tel: 01622 203
As many will know i have been taking a more ethical way of life personally. Using more sustainable items such as plastic free dishwashing products and refillable deodrants etc. I stopped producing candles as after much research discovered that to produce soy wax pestecides and fertilizers are used to farm the wax which has a massive impact on the enviroment. Also to create such farms de forestation takes place.
To me that was not enviro friendly or sustainable.
However i have now found a wax that is still vegan friendly and much much more sustainable .
Over the next 6 months not only will i be using glass created in Kent for the candle jars but also still using the same local label business.
It is a deep passion for the candles i produce to have more sustainability and to use local resources where possible to protect the world we live in.
Of course all the popular fragrances i had before will be availiable again!

Did you know that all of our candles are made using Soy wax? This means not only are they vegan friendly but also better for the enviroment. Pete the founder and Maker of kitchen candles is a chronic asthmatic and has created a product with a strong fragrance without triggering asthma symptoms when burning.
Pete also uses a wick that is made from cotton & paper which means it is less likely to cause smoke in the enviroment around you unlike some other leading brands . He prides himself with using lids on his jars as it stops the fragrance from leaking .This results in you as a customer getting a highly fragranced candle just like it was on the day it was made in the Kitchen. Using lids to extinquish your candle also means less smoke in the room.
All of our jars are sourced locally in Kent and our labels are made by a small independent printing company as we try to support a small business when and where possible.
We use as little plastic in our packaging to furthermore a safer and more mindful approach to the enviroment.
Our next market will take place on Sunday 16th May at The Village Centre, Staplehurst. We will use both halls and the outside space, to host over 20 stalls from small, local, artisan crafters and producers.
Keep an eye on our page for full details of all stalls in attendance!
