It’s been a long long time eh! We’re still here, still fixing. Knee deep in boards 😄 iMac 24inch board here. Died randomly…. FIXED

PC in for an interesting issue. Wouldn’t power on and was missing a trace. Not sure how this happened but we found the end of the trace and soldered it to the resistor ✅🛠️

Been very busy with repairs here and life in general. Here’s a nice one and highlighting importance of angles and troubleshooting. Birds Eye view all looks good… slight tilt and the cracks appear 😉

Up close and personal with this MacBook Pro M2. Liquid damage which was bad enough to kill some traces. Components changed, rewired, protected and all is well 🙌🏼💻🪄🧙🏻‍♂️

MacBook Pro 2018 battery replacement 👌🏼🔋

Interesting drone repair. This customer accidentally crashed it and the main board took a hit. A damaged connector and another connector that came off entirely. Fixed and back working 🔬✈️🛫⚡️

Dead MacBook Pro to finish off the year. Tiny amount of liquid to the rear of the board causing a short on an important line. Fixed and customer saved +£300 vs Apple 🍎🔬💻🙌🏼🧙🏻‍♂️💰

MacBook Air 2017 in for intermittent backlight. We found this tiny capacitor corroded underneath causing problems, we think it may have been shorting to ground intermittently. Changed and problem solved 🙌🏼🔬💻👨🏻‍🔧🧙🏻‍♂️

Hectic few weeks but here’s an interesting repair! Steamdeck in for RAM module upgrade, power button repair and some pad repairs under the RAM modules. First time working on one of these 🔬⚡️

FIRE in the hole 🔥🕳️ MacBook Pro in for liquid damage. This killed the machine but also created a short circuit fusing 2 layers of the board together 😳 we had to cut a (not so neat) hole out to clear the short. Fixed and data safe 🛠️💻🧙🏻‍♂️🔬🪄

Semi-successful repair of M1 Pro 16inch MacBook Pro. Came in for data recovery, severe liquid damage everywhere. We repaired as many circuits as possible and now we have a working machine but only on external screens. New screen needed sadly. Nevertheless data is safe 🛠️🔬🪄🧙🏻‍♂️💼

Repair for Manchester University! If I speak I am in big trouble 👀 this chip died and I have no words. MacBook Pro acting like a dead CPU due to 5v regulator failure. 2 blown resistors, 2 dead chips. Fixed and data safe. 🔬🛠️🧙🏻‍♂️🪄💻

Spanish University sent us this urgently with some lab tests that needed doing 🇪🇸👨🏻‍🔬 MacBook Pro with severe corrosion to side of board. Just made it look brand new again 👌🏼👨🏻‍🍳🧙🏻‍♂️👨🏻‍🔧🛠️
