EAV
Driven by people. Powered by potential. eCargo bikes to optimise operations and reduce emissions.
When designing our 2Cubed EAV eCargo bike, we focused on designing a transport solution that specifically caters to the urban environment, with the variety and diversity to be used across many different industries and in a variety of situations.
We add to this a lightweight design, that has net zero emissions and is completely safe – oh and featuring some rather advanced engineering – and we got EAV.
Our team of designers work relentlessly to make EAV more efficient, more lightweight and the best product for our customers - and the environment - it can be.
EAV was inspired by family and is still powered by people today.
We’re much more than just an e-cargo bike company, and our team’s relentless drive has allowed us to grow from a team of just 4 to now over 60 in just 3 years; growing even during recent challenging times.
Ever wondered who makes an eCargo bike go? Our team are the best at what they do, from a range of backgrounds that includes F1, global FMCG brands, green energy companies and, of course, bike experts and engineers.
All our team members have driven an EAV, come rain or shine, and, if they're lucky, completed a 'EAVssault course' (patent pending 😉) at our Upper Heyford offices and workshop; with some having driven an EAV through some of the UK's busiest cities.
Our products are made in our Oxfordshire workshop by our team - no conveyor belt or robots in sight - and we're proud to produce our product in the UK, even utilising our suppliers and friends in the industry to, where possible, reduce emissions even further.
Here's just a few of our team members working hard at our offices, which are based on a rather picturesque ex-RAF airfield near Oxford.
(In fact many of your favourite shows and movies have been filmed just a few metres from our door!).
For the next few days, across our social media, we'll be delving into EAV a bit more; to show our followers a unique look at EAV behind the scenes.
Today, we're kicking off with our how our story got started...
Our CEO, Adam, founded EAV in 2018 on the basis of creating a future, inspired by his young family.
We realised that the future wasn't just electrifying vans and cars, this just wouldn't go far enough. A better solution was needed to protect the environment and to make our towns and cities a better place to live in.
EAV was created and specifically formed to offer a lighter, simpler, emissions-free and efficient option for businesses; all whilst being kinder to the world we live in.
Fast-forward to 2022 and we have reduced potential hundreds of tonnes of emissions, saved hundreds thousands of litres of diesel and, most importantly, educated customers and leading urban businesses that EAV eCargo bikes are their future.
This has allowed us to edge closer to our mission to change the urban delivery formula and drastically reduce emissions in our cities.
And we're not done yet.
Check back in tomorrow to find out a bit more about about the rest of our EAV team...
