Wings Waiters have been at it again! 👀
🎤 Wings Entertainment have been at it again today with our Wings Waiters. We had the pleasure of singing at Mr & Mrs Holmes’ wedding today at Moxhull Hall.
🍴 Ben, Shannon & James went undercover as waiters during the wedding breakfast, working as waiters for the venue. They worked a 2 hour shift, serving starters, main courses and deserts. Once the final desert was on the table, it was their time to shine!
🎉 James dropped to the floor, shocking the whole room. Once a group of guests tried to help get James first aid, Ben hit play on the music and that was it, BAM! The trio sang a 20 minute mashup of the best sing-along anthems. The guests were on their feet in no time.

A huge well done to our student, Lacey who came second in Cofton’s Got Talent!
Lacey truly is a star, you may remember Lacey’s performance of Naughty from Matilda in our Winter Showcase this year. We are very proud of what she has accomplished in her time with Wings!
⭐️🎶 We always love to showcase our students as much as possible and give them an opportunity to shine. How nice is it, seeing some new faces take centre stage!!

🎶 What a great Musical Theatre Singing lesson today at Wings Theatre School based in Wilnecote. Today our students started a brand new song from the hit musical SIX.
🙋♀️ What is Musical Theatre Singing?
Our students meet weekly at Wilnecote for just £5 per hour, where they work monthly on a brand new song, focusing on the melody and harmonies. The students also focus on chest voice, head voice, posture, expression, character, diction, breathing and much much more.
🎥 Every month the students will be working on a brand new song, which will be recorded in the professional music studio at Wilnecote. The music will be professionally edited and the students will finish up on filming a music video to be released online. HOW EXCITING!!

The amazing Julie of our Wings Choir and an overall supporter has done it again!
Julie with her annual fund raising has raised a whopping £2,000 for both, Blood Cancer UK and Breast Cancer Now, with her charity event, Sparkle & Shine. How amazing is that?!
A huge congratulations Julie. She also sends a massive shout out, to all of the parents, students and members for helping her reach beyond her goal!

Congratulations to our Drama students for getting through to the Semi-finals of the All England theatre festival!
We are super proud of them all!
Although we didn’t make it through to the finals, the cast received incredible feedback from the adjudicator and the audience. We know that the performance definitely made an impact on the people watching and it won’t stop there!
This isn’t the end of ‘The Final Bell’
One of our directors James O'Hare had a very special evening last night!
James went along to his first ever comedy night and was surprised and invited onto stage to be reunited with Joe Pasquale after 18 years. They worked together on the Pantomime Peter Pan at the Birmingham Hippodrome when James was just 12 years old.
James was part of the pantomime with Birmingham Stage School and he even had some lines. Every show, James, as one of the Lost boys would do different things to try and make Joe break character on stage, such as wearing makeup, wearing his hair in plaits etc. Joe had to keep a straight face whilst singing ‘Hushabye Mountain’.
Joe Pasquale is one of James’ idols and he was speechless to be invited up onto stage and even get a kiss from Joe 😂
A big thank you to the comedy legend Joe Pasquale and the wonderful Wayne - Funny Beeseness for making James’ night and surprising him as part of the comedy show. It will be a memory James will cherish forever.

Wings Theatre School is expanding! After a very successful NINE years, we have a brand new MUSICAL THEATRE class coming to Castle Vale.
For the past two years, Wings have been based in Wilnecote High School offering classes in Musical Theatre, drama, dance and singing. Our students in Tamworth take part in several shows throughout the year from musical productions to talent showcases. Each student is given the opportunity to shine.
Whether it’s professional training or just a bit of fun, our classes have it all. And now we are coming to Castle Vale!!

Happy St. George’s Day to everyone celebrating!
Some of our Wings Theatre School students were cast in a performance for the story of George and the Dragon! We try to give our students as many opportunities to perform as we possibly can and this is a regular booking for us!
This was performed infront of hundreds of Scouts and general public for our third year running - we love a good traditional story with a twist 🐉🏴
Our Story
We are a family run business based in Kingsbury Tamworth at the Kingsbury Village Theatre. We have three function rooms, The Theatre, The Hive and The Green Room, which all include a fully licensed bar available to hire.
We offer performing arts classes, acting classes, dance classes and we run our own choir through the week. We have an open door policy, meaning our classes are accessible to all, regardless of age, ability or need. We also host events & productions on our fully equipped stage.
