Loving it so far, now really nervous about the next bit...resin.π±.
I've been having fun and games recently with my resin, apparently it doesn't go "off", but it's been a while since I've used it and the last couple of pours have not gone so well...π€ so fingers crossed and a bit more practise.....

Revisting an old canvas this evening. π from the concept of clouds came the roses. It's lovely to add a bit more copper and gold.
A bitter sweet moment, sold my lovely Aurora picture, so sad to see it go, but excited to see the next step in the path. We've been on quite a journey together β€ but glad it is going to a lovely home. I don't know about other artists but when you spend time with your artwork, a little part of your soul becomes invested with each piece Just me? π₯°π
Oh to swim in the warm clear blue waters and watch the fish swimming free.π π Although without the netting!!π
Started at a Sunday group with Claire Warner.
So hard to capture the true light and colour of this painting. 4 small canvas's with Gold and Copper acrylic swathes on an Aqua background, then topped with resin with the odd sprinkle of copper foil flakes. Yummy.πβΊ
Pastel picture finished... π€ An enjoyable way to spend the Bank holiday post Christmas. π π Not completely my cup of tea, not abstract or sparkly enough, but good fun never the less. π€£ππ
A bit of snow and sun for those of us currently stuck under grey dreary skies.ππ
This Farm Rents Out Christmas Trees, Then Replants Them for Next Year Renting a Christmas tree that can then be replanted can be a pretty sustainable option for the holiday.

Today's play with pastels. Nice and messy but love the ability to blend colours. Super fun and hopefully finish off the rest tomorrow. Picture and steps of how to do are from Jeremy Ford, Landscapes.ππ₯°
Autumn mist. A fab watercolour workshop on Saturday with Artist Claire Warner. I'm a beginner with watercolor but I think I will be doing some more, as this was so much fun. π₯°π₯° Perhaps mix it up a bit with some shimmer... ππ
Inspired by Italy, "The old pizza oven" in pen and ink.
