Wow we have honestly been blown away by the support from local groups and businesses over the past few months! A big heartfelt thank you to Humber Refinery and Ashby Wesley Church (both pictured) as well as The Bottesford with Ashby Team Ministry and Scunthorpe Rotary Club, all whom generously donated to our charity! We currently receive no funding so every penny that is donated really does make a difference and helps to keep our small local charity running. ❤️ It's been a busy year for Jen's Special Place and a difficult year for many with more young people accessing our service for bereavement support. We are forever grateful to our amazing and dedicated team of volunteers and our wonderful supporters. Without you we wouldnt be able to keep providing our service. Honestly we have been blown away by your generousity, commitment and kindness!

⭐️ Young people had a great time at our socials this week and we want to say a special thanks to both Santa's, Mrs Claus and Elf for bringing the magic, Bosom Bells and Ashby Wesley Church for their carol singing, Bronwen for baking and volunteering, Jade for adding the sparkle to everyone's hair, Morrisons for donating towards the food, BRR Law for donating towards Christmas presents, Pizza Plaza for donating pizzas, Steve from JMS for donating selection boxes and to all who wished us all Merry Christmas!

Today marks another year since my sister Jennie (pictured left) died, 6 months after this photo was taken 💔 She was diagnosed with cancer whilst pregnant with her 3rd child and lost her battle on 20th November 2009 at the age of 25. Her strength to keep on fighting was remarkable and until the very end her thoughts were ALWAYS of her children. A devoted and caring mother to her last breath. We thank her for being in our lives although we miss her everyday we are grateful for the memories she left us with ❤️ J x

A huge thank you and a massive well done to Oscar, who completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge yesterday, we couldn't be prouder of him! ⭐️ Oscar started very early in the morning and walked a whole 24.5miles with the support of his dad and uncle.
