Its always such an honor to do a huge transformation on a client it gets very deep shedding old energy to clear the way for new image /new life emerging yesterday was one of those days . We re still halfway through this big job i ve spent the last 2 days combing out 7year old dreads on my client ! It wont be finished for a while because i m so very booked up in advance but when its done i ll be enjoying sharing pics with you. # # #

RANT INCOMING -Over the years i have trained many hairdressers and one dreadloctician (the loctician that i trained is currently out of the country the lovely Lily of Lily s Dreads Glastonbury who is exploring the world and having many beautiful adventures for now) . Every now and then i m asked to "save" someone s hair and recently I ve been helping a client salvage her hair / dreads that were badly done by someone else and have been overworked which means the dreads are breaking off a lot all over the head! The worrying thing about this is that the person who did this job is telling clients that i trained them ...i did not. I ve always been proud of my reputation as being the best (hard to big myself up but its my truth) I have trained with the best from the beginning way back in 1984. i m extremely passionate about my career in the industry and believe in high standards and supporting other hairdressers but will not be associated with bu****it . I realize everyone has to learn by experience but please do not use my name and good reputation to make your work look better than you are. My advice to clients out there when looking for someone to trust with their hair /dreads ask to see pictures of their work over the years working on the same client because if they are highly skilled clients with be lifelong loyal ones . It dosen t matter if they work from a salon or if are a hairdresser ask to see the proof of their skills. Transforming clients gets deep and is mostly a re birthing and is always a privilege so to all locticians/hairdressers out there please have the respect and skills your clients need to create beautiful work in a safe honest space. Be proud! Rant over. X

I highly recommend that you book in for a colour analysis (hair/skin/eye) before booking in for hair colouring and hair/dread extensions in order to look your absolute best so you are wearing colours that make you sparkle! X

Going through a few basic hair styles so my client feels confident to style her own dreads before she leaves the salon so she can walk out into the world feeling confident & empowered! 💪🏻😁🥰🌸

After thinking about having dreads for years then meeting me for a talk about it then losing in touch with me then getting dreads by someone else that she was really unhappy with then finding me again & combing out the dreads she hated I finally created dreads she now loves ! If in doubt of your Loctician ask to see pics of thier work on the same client over the years because if the Loctician is good the client will be loyal to the same hairdresser for ever! 💪🏻😁🥰

I offer make up as part of my colour analysis appointments , on this occasion I created a very natural daytime face . I m usually booked up several months in advance for all personal stylist hair/colour analysis/make up appointments so be prepared for a wait. up styling 🌸🙏🥰

This is one of regular clients having his 1st colour analysis appointment where I work out his best colours at the end of the appointment he leaves with a wallet packed full of fabric samples so he knows exactly what suits him when shopping. There are so many of his most flattering colours it means endless combinations & choices! 💪🏻😁🤘🏻

This is the lovely Carla getting her 1st colour analysis, this was a tricky one because we wanted to know what colouring type she is without her blonde highlighted hair that’s why her hair is tied back in the pics. I will be colouring her hair soon to harmonise with her natural hair ( roots)/skin/eye palette… stay tuned to see the results…😁.
