We are looking forward to some glassblowing, mayday bank holiday. Its our first trip into 'living history' but not completely into viking glass, we were commissioned a little while back to make 'linen smoothers inspired by the archeological evidence found at the cumwhitton dig. We have a few left if you feel that your viking persona needs one π
If you have ever fancied trying glassblowing, we are offering 'blow your own bauble' sessions at the mayday bank holiday weekend!
why not come along and meet all the amazing crafters, both historical and modern, and experience a little slice of viking life.
'blow your own bauble' sessions are Β£35 for a 15 minute slot where you will, with the assistance of an instructor make your own blown glass bauble this can then be collected after the event as it needs to cool slowly (to be arranged on the day) or for an extra fee postage can be provided to UK addresses, slots are available to pre-book via the Hen Ogledd Glass page send us a direct message or an email, but may also be available during the event dependent on the popularity of the pre-booked sessions

Tobi our furnace has been on a spa retreat, and feels like a whole new furnace again so he will be up and running towards the end of the year to run our ever popular bauble blowing sessions.
