What a fantastic day we had today!

On private hire out to all three Maunsell Forts in the Thames Estuary for just the one lovely gentleman from the US of A who wanted the vessel all to himself!!

He had a great time photographing, filming and droning and we had another lovely calm day out at sea seeing our beloved forts!!!

X-Pilot is available for Private Hire all year round and with our centrally heated cabins there’s always somewhere to warm up if it’s a bit chilly. You don’t have to hire us all on your own as we’re licensed for up to twelve passengers.

We had a fantastic trip on Saturday 26th October and met some lovely people from across the world, including representatives from Australia and Germany.

1. Cruise Ship: 20-25 knots
2. Container Ship: 16-24 knots
3. RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) Ship: 16-22 knots
4. Tanker: 13-17 knots
5. Bulk Carrier: 13-15 knots

These speeds reflect the general range at which these ships operate under normal conditions.
