This week, I challenge you to compliment someone every day. Same person, a few people, or different people. Strangers, family or friends.
We all love feeling good about ourselves, and a good compliment can make someones day.
But think about what you want to say, and how you say it. A person is more than their appearance and too often we get empty compliments like "Nice shirt".That is complimenting the shirt, not the person.
"That shirt suits you" is ok, but kinda means that you look crap in anything else!
"You have great style, that shirt really suits you" compliments something internally, ie sense of style, and that is who someone is.
With people you know a bit better, pointing out an example of a character trait that you appreciate or admire like strength, friendliness, kindness.
Im big on the whole wholesome thing, kindness, helping, being the best person you can be, and also understanding that each of us, yourself included, is utterly extraordinary in innumerable ways.
This month, (whichever diety you believe in, help us all), is friendship month, and Cat Month.
So a month full of being good to others, being the best friend to yourself, and cat pictures to come. You are very welcome.

Yesterday I took the day off to spend at the Mining museum with a friend. We both had a blast catching up and just spending time together.

Morning of shopping....two new couch covers and some candles. I adore the colours. This is the perk of having your own studio - decorating it with all the pretty things!
What does a massage therapist do with a paperclip and some time? Rethread elastic on a cover that broke on Friday! Third time lucky.
Great news is that I have ordered some new business cards and leaflets, about the good deed discount too!
Bad news is that a client is needing to do a good deed and be patient with me, I have had to reschedule due to the snow and using a white cane...little bit scary out there for someone who cant really see.
The snow is unlikely to last long so will be sorted soon no doubt. l
In the meantime, I can tinker with the website a bit more and we can all be kind to each other.

The catch being that you have to do something nice for someone else. That can be calling a friend to check in on them, helping someone cross the road, taking cupcakes into the office, or giving someone a compliment.
