Throw back to my teens today as these tops are back in stock. I started making these tops when I was 17 and here they are today still going strong today.
The gingham are now back in stock.
This was the day my sister and I set off for Universal Studios.
We had to get 2 busses to get there. At the stop where we changed busses there was a shoe shop so I popped inside. I nearly died on the spot. The whole shop was full of dead stock Vintage shoes. I’m sure they were only there to supply the movie industry but oh boy was I excited. I bet I still have the shoes somewhere. I remember I bought this pair of Vogue baby doll pumps. High thick heel in cream silk with thin painted lines curving all over them and some blue suede sandles. I love blue suede or blue velvet. Anyway the first ones were so delicious but didn’t go with many outfits. I mostly just looked at them with love. The Sandals were beautiful too but not so unusual. They were $20 a pair. But with the £=$ at that time that was a lot of money.
Wish I could have bought the whole shop. I’m amazed I didn’t spend the rest of the day in there just looking at shoes but my sister probably wanted to get on her way.
Anyway, back to the point of this post. These cute little tops are back they were a staple every day in my wardrobe back then. As I’m sure they were for a lot of you lovely ladies.
