Congratulations to our assistant teacher George who will be competing at the British and English Nationals over the next few weeks. After qualifying for two previous English nationals with Kingsbury, George is now swimming with City of Coventry.

We are delighted that he is now inspiring the next generation of Kingsbury swimmers and would like to wish him all the best at Nationals 🏊‍♂️

Congratulations to our swimmer Will on qualifying to represent the West Midlands at the Inter Regional Triathlon Championships in September. After competing at the Mallory Park triathlon Will was selected as one of the four Tristar 3 open athletes to compete for the West Midlands in the event including individual triathlon, relay event and a transition challenge!

On Saturday one of our swimmers took part in the Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon Festival. Competing in the Tristars 3 event against a very strong field Will was second out of the water after a 400m swim and then finished a very impressive 4th place!

It was a busy weekend of swimming! Congratulations to our Mercian team who battled hard at Tudor Grange Leisure centre last night to finish in 5th place. We are proud of every single one of you! Thank you to our coaches, team managers and officials.

Over at Ladywood leisure centre our dual registered swimmers, Jenson and Jacob, were competing for City of Birmingham and both came away with a great haul of medals! Well done both 👏👏
