Lovely bit of foot patrol completed this afternoon by PCSO Hewitt and on duty until 11pm this evening.
As part of Op Lester - spiking intensification week, PCSO Hewitt is giving out anti spiking devices, silicone drinks covers, drink testing strips and personal safety advice to students in the university campis
Regular patrols have taken place this afternoon and will continue this evening to help communities feel safe, offering visibility and reassurance π
The police surgery is now open with PCSO Hewitt at Bubble Tea Bar on Garden Lane until 19.00.

The women's surgery held by PCSO Hewitt is now open until 15.00, at Tomorrow's Women. Pleaee do come in to discuss any policing concerns. I am also giving out personal safety devices and information about accessing services
Plain clothes officers have deployed in Chester City centre today. Staff at Chester Cathedral have alerted CCTV of a male acting suspiciously within the grounds of the Cathedral, and CCTV have then informed the officers. Officers have tried to engage with the male who became irate, shouting and swearing before making off from patrols. With the help of response officers, the male has been detained and arrested for public order offences and assault police. Thank you to all those involved, and more importantly the assaulted officer did not sustain any serious injuries
Regular patrols continue to take place in areas where we receive reports of drug activity and antisocial behaviour. These patrols offer high visibility and reassurance to residents in the community.
Good morning, bit of a different start to my morning today. Currently at the University of Chester assisting with the Barney and Echo Mindfulness Roadshow where I'll be engaging with 8 to 11 year olds to discuss the importance of mental wellbeing - PC Pheasey
Pride on campus, at Chester University is happening today until 5pm. PCSO Hewitt is handing out personal safety devices, information on staying safe while in the city and how to report a hate crime if you are a victim. π«
Following reports of drug activity, PCSO Hewitt has been patrolling in the area and is on duty until 11pm this evening.

PCSO Hewitt is delivering the third party hate crime reporting centre, refresher training to staff in the Rainbow Tea Rooms.
Reporting centre's are valuable safe spaces for victims to make a report.
Hate crime involves any criminal offence
which is percieved by the victim or any other person, to be motivated by hostility or prejudice on a personal characteristic - race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

PCSO Hewitt delivered a talk to the 8th Chester, Squirrel Scouts this evening. Working towards their super hero badge! All had fun in the police van and recieved lots of bike safety gadgets, stickers and pencils π
