Join us for a fab Mens weekend with Ian Williams from Riviera Life Church Torquay. Ian is a fantastic communicator of God's Word and has many years behind him Pastoring people of all ages.

Booking is essential for both our Mens Breakfast (Bacon and Egg Baps) and our Mens Curry evening. Everyone welcome and what's more there's no charge, but booking is essential for catering purposes.

Sunday Evening, Ian will be continuing his theme of 'WHAT'S NEXT'? as we join together to hear God's Word for our lives today.

Fired Up Children's Church will be available on Sunday evening for Children of Primary School Age.

So we have all awoke this morning to the latest Computer Apocylypse from Microsoft!!! Sky News is down, Airlines Grounded and GP appointments cancelled. Some might say that we have been warning about this for years and some might say we now need more control over our lives to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

For many on our planet, such events can be quite unnerving. The unknown can always bring about fear especially as we cannot control much of what happens in life. However, for the Christian, we have a much higher authority to live by than Microsoft. It is in times of the unknown when we are stretched beyond ourselves that we have no choice but to rely on God - That's faith. If all we have to live on in our lives is ourselves or world systems then I ask, "Where is the faith in that".

Whatever the outcome of the next few hours or days then why not take it as an opportunity to come back to basics. After all, it doesn't take a computer system to Love our neighbour, feed the poor, be kind to the homeless, care for the lonely, build up our family, visit the sick.

Last night at our housegroup we were reminded of the Jesus Mainifesto spoken by Jesus some 2000 years ago when computers didn't exist from Luke 4:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”

Jesus did not have to log on to His smartphone to set up an appointment with Mary, Martha and Lazarus or to raise people from the dead, heal the man at the pool of Siloam or forgive the man who hung on the cross next to him. He was just available.

Our light party about to begin😀

Hi Everyone. On Sunday 30th July there will be no Gathering in St Eval. Instead, join us on the Beach for a fun packed family day out and celebrate with us as we Baptise James & Harmony. (James helps out at Youth and Harmony is a part of the youth group) Come listen to their story about how God set them free and gave their lives purpose.
We will be be gathering at 2pm next to the river at Porthcothan Beach to start the celebrations.

A very Special Weekend at Clays Community Church - Old Pound

Good morning everyone. We have a really busy week this week with our guest visitor and Speaker - Andrea Rowan.

Andrea will be speaking to the Ladies on Saturday Evening with her message titled - For such a time as this. Food will be served at 6pm followed by a time of Worship and the Word. Come expecting to hear from God and to receive from Him. Andrea is a fantastic relational speaker who moves in the Prophetic.
Ladies please let us know if you would like to come for catering purposes and feel free to bring your (Teen) daughters.

On Sunday 10.30am Andrea will be with us again but please note the change of time as we will be meeting in the morning. Everyone is welcome to our family service with Children's Church for 4-11 year olds. Looking forward to seeing you all.
