The importance of aspiration on injection! This shows why injectors are taught to aspirate prior to injecting for safety reasons. There is a lot of debate on how effective this is and dependent on products used. This procedure is where you drawback on the syringe when positioned at the correct depth to check you are not in a blood vessel and vulnerable to a blockage potentially causing a vascular occlusion.
