St Ives harbour, from St Leonard’s Chapel at the entrance to Smeaton's Pier, the fishermen’s chapel.
The exact date for the construction of this small stone Chapel isn’t known, but records of repairs have been found dated from 1577.
The Chapel was more than likely used for quiet contemplation and prayers before embarking out to sea.
