Fantastic Friday celebrations today!
Wonderful turnout today for our “Book on a Blanket” event for Y3-Y5. Thanks to the 85+ parents/ carers/ grandparents and siblings who joined us! Thanks to Mrs Warren for leading the presentation.
A day of two halves for our Y6s. The residential group enjoyed a wonderful coastal walk to Lulworth Cove in Dorset. The Y6 children in school had a great morning learning how to play djembe drums!

Don't forget happening on Friday 3rd May, we are inviting all children to wear ⭐️MUFTI⭐️ clothing and to bring in an item as a donation for the May Fayre. The suggestions are as follows:
-Reception and Year 6: Bottle of any kind (shampoo, wine, bubble bath, ketchup!) for the bottle tombola (please check items are in date)
For all other year groups, your contributions will help to make up “lucky bags” of prizes for various games suggestions for each year group below.
-Year 1 & Year 5 : Packets of individually wrapped sweets (please check everything is in date)
-Year 3: Craft and stationery items/sets.
-Years 2 and 4: Chocolate bars (individually wrapped small bars are best please, e.g. funsize treat bags that are in date)
Please share with other class parents/carers, all of your support really will go along way to the success of the May Fayre. 🤞🏻

Brilliant Bikeability sessions for Year 5 this week, helping to teach our children how to cycle safely on the roads!

Incredibly proud of our Tag Rugby team for coming in 4th place at the county finals today at Kettering Rugby Club! Our team only lost a single match and were fantastic ambassadors for our school - well done!

We made the front cover of Barton Today! Well done to Tilly in Year 5 for her winning design and thanks to all of our children who entered this competition for the village magazine. See also our monthly article on page 30!

Wear your comfies and bring a blanket, a bag of popcorn 🍿 and water/squash will be available so make sure to bring water bottles.
Clues to the film 🎥 will be shared early next week. It will be U rated with subtitles on.

An incredible visit from the Word Guerrilla last week! Dave put on an incredible performance for the children in the hall then each class had a workshop session to create a school rap based around our school values!
Wonderful carols on the playground event on Monday! Thanks to everyone who came and to the staff who led and set-up and to our fabulous PTA for the refreshments!

Very excited to present the final two performances of “Ebenezer Scrooge’s Quiet Night In” by senior choir. Tonight at 4pm and 6pm. Refreshments available.

Half (due to venue capacity!) of our senior choir attended the Earls Barton luncheon club today to sing for the guests. They sang a rousing 9 Christmas songs which were very well-received by the attendees. Second half of choir there again next Friday! Thanks to Mrs Levell.
Every child in our school created a decoration for display at the All Saints Church, Earls Barton Christmas tree festival!
