The Surrey Organics’ Story
Surrey Organics has been founded by us... 🙂 Dominica Roszko & Gary Collis - advocates of everything organic, holistic, sustainable & ethical.
I (Dominica) am a Skincare Formulator and Master Herbalist trained in different herbal modalities from around the world. I have been exploring and making cosmetics for my personal use since 2014. I am also a Naturopath and Iridologist and have been running my holistic health practice in Surrey for over 5 years.
My partner, Gary, has a Natural Skincare Certificate and is particularly interested in using botanicals for skincare. He is passionate about healthy lifestyle and natural medicine. He is the living example of what herbs and whole food vegan diet can do to your body, losing over 3.5 stone and getting his extremely high blood pressure under control.
In 2011/2012 my body gave up after years of abusing it and I ended up with severe eczema, fatigue and emotional breakdown. After many months of going to various doctors I was offered to take antidepressants to help me “deal with my conditions”, which I refused and decided to take health into my own hands. I started researching, going deeper and deeper, and came across many beautiful stories of people getting their health back through following a whole food plant based diet. I decided to give it a try, and the results were astounding: my eczema cleared within less than 3 weeks, I started feeling more rested and energetic… the dark thoughts also disappeared.
