JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR SENIOR TEAM MEMBER
Great job, great business.
Our superb and stable senior management team at Helen Browningâs Royal Oak has been disturbed. Claire Dukes, our senior bar manager (a bigger job than that) leaves towards the end of March after nearly two years of helping this business grow and attain more awards and commendations.
We need to replace the irreplaceable! Well, almost. We want and need someone who can display all of the following characteristics, every day that he/she (or they) work here.
Intelligence; composure; flexibility; organised and thoughtful; even tempered; simple IT skills and good written English; assertive as needed; keen and able to work weekends and other difficult hours; able to set an example to other staff and tutor new recruits. An active interest in sassy social media output. Plus an instinct to want to help people have a good time.
Some previous hospitality work might be useful but not essential. We think that intelligence, aptitude and attitude are more important.
Hospitality to us is simpleâit means guests leave our hotel, pub and restaurant, and organic farm feeling better than when they arrived (usually!) Weâve been practicing it for 15 years, and have turned this place from an almost certifiable dump into an award winning organic palace of fun.
We pay properly and on time and always have done; tips are shared between all, all the time; we pay proper holiday money and time; other perks available if interested. We appear to be a good employer, and If youâre right for the job, youâre right for us.
Pay will be from ÂŁ25k upwards, negotiable, depending on age, aptitude, life experience and various other redeeming qualities.
Contact is [email protected]; please drop us a note and weâll email you a job and person spec. If you are so keen that a phone call has to be made, try 01793 790481, and ask for Tim, Jo or Claire.
