Peak manor was built by the influential Strutt family at the end of Queen Victoria’s reign. It is steeped in history which includes being a convalescent home a care home for retired electricians and our favourite a maternity home for the local area. We have preserved as much as possible of the original features of this wonderful property.
Set in 3 acres it is peaceful and tranquil being perched on a plateau on a hill you will enter via a gated private drive the noise of fountain will greet you along with the shadow of the clock tower replete with an original working Smiths clock.
Located on the edge of the historic peak district which offers a plethora of activities and a wealth of incredible english heritage there is something for everyone the discerning biker, the avid hiker, theme parks for the more adventurous, mouth watering local produce to suit every palate lots of historic venues activities and places of interest.
