Marbled elegant 30th birthday cake!

Can't go wrong with a marbled fondant design. This customer wanted a simple blue and white marbled, they thought it may be a bit plain so I suggested a few flower detailing and topper and VOILA 😘

Peppa pig cake!

This cake was for a lovely 3 year olds birthday, the customer wanted a Peppa pig theme but didn't want to break the bank (understandable in this day and age) so as always I suggested a buttercream cake with fondant detailing. Buttercream can be costly depending on the design but for the most part it's generally cheaper than a Fondant covered cake. So always remember to ask!

Remberance Sunday!

As well as Diwali, today for those in the UK it is Remberance Sunday, it is a day to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts. So aswell as a pic of my delicious french toast I woukd like to show my respect.

I would like to emphasize that this includes Indians, Africans Palestinians and more ethnicies fought for and alongside the British. They are often forgotten so I would like us all to take a moment to remember those people of colour who are often forgotten on this day.

A little throwback to some Diwali cupcakes I made!

Diwali is the Hindu celebration of light over darkness and good over evil. In short it is a rooted in various mythological stories, with the most common being the return of Lord Rama after defeating the demon king Ravana. Diwali signifies the victory of righteousness and the dispelling of ignorance, fostering a sense of joy, unity, and hope.

Yesterday we had a fantastic evening celebrating my dad and father in law!

These cupcakes are a little throwback to last year as this year I made a 3 course meal and didn't have time (or energy) to decorate baked goods 😅 still obsessed with the marbling of those fondant toppers though!

I personally love this dried flower bouquet from not only are they great quality but an amazing price and were delivered in no time!

Happy Halloween!

This was a little surprise for a regular customer who thought I wasn't able to make his birthday cake this year but I managed to squeeze it in, just about!

They had a Halloween themed birthday party with this bad boy as dessert. I just want to know how they went about eating that solid chocolate skull, perhaps using a chainsaw 😅
