We’ve uploaded the first 13 titles 📚 in the SigningFriends series to our shop available for PRE-ORDER from today! Delivery 📦 will be the end of March. Each book is £4.99 and there is a bundle price for the full set.

Let’s Get Started: The first two titles are I SEE and I HEAR. Each page features the same phrase with a new concept to see or hear on each spread.

Activity book series: Join the friends as they sign the alphabet, numbers, colours, months & seasons. So many lovely concepts in these!

Storybook series: In these books the friends go on adventures to the beach, the farm, the zoo and much more. These books weave lots of semantically-linked vocabulary into engaging little stories.

All books feature stunning illustrations and a QR code taking you to a Makaton-signed video so you’ll know how to sign the story to your child/ren at home or in school.

We had a great LifeWise session this afternoon, it’s surprising how many activities you can do in just under 2 hours!

• Learning new Makaton signs and recapping last weeks signs
• Part 1 of ‘Positive Me’ canvases using masking tape and paint
• Special visit from Andy Mc - the signs for the rugby six nations
• “My skills/things that I am good at” work sheets
• Spot lighting a member who spoke about her job & hobbies
• Singing and signing a Valentine song

Our members are now looking forward to completing their Positive Me canvases in our next week’s LifeWise session.

the Makaton approaches to Safeguarding Workshop could be just what you are looking for.
This fantastic workshop teaches 300 signs and symbols to help Safeguard the people we support. the signs and symbols help understand more about People and Relationships, Body Parts and Clothing, Places in the Community, Feelings and Emotions, Bullying and Abuse as well as Intimate Matters.
My next workshop is February 1st 2nd 8th & 9th. I have daytime or event sessions available. 10-2pm or 6-10pm.
You must attend all 4 sessions and have completed Level 1&2 Workshop.

I love the Makaton sessions I do with Follow Your Dreams. We had a great time playing Bingo and a signed story on Christmas Eve. ❤️

We would like to say thank you to our wonderful Ambassador Andy for delivering a brilliant MakaBingo session for us. Everyone enjoyed learning all the Christmas Makaton signs to play bingo and it was a fun way to learn. We used Elf Slates to create our bingo boards so we could wipe clean and have different signs each game, also practicing drawing the Makaton symbols.

We would also like to thank Andy for giving up his time on Christmas Eve to tell the story of "Twas the Night before Christmas"
