We're excited to announce that the new Para Coach Pathway training day has now been launched! The Para Coach training will be a one day online or face to face training day that is aimed at coaches who are interested in becoming a para coach or coaches who are already involved in coaching para riders but would like to refresh their knowledge.

This training has been developed with bespoke content which considers the feedback from the workforce survey and the needs of equestrian coaches. Giving coaches the confidence and competence to support para riders within their coaching session along with the tools and knowledge to allow their para riders to have the best possible experience when they attend a coaching session.

We are holding our first training day on the 5 September 2022 via zoom. Book in via Horse Monkey.

Emma Saul Grade 4 rider and myself Donna Rooney Grade 5 attended BD Wales senior camp at Aberystwyth University this week. We were looked after, had priority parking 🤣 to avoid a steep hill and were helped by all the fellow riders.
It would be great to see more integration amoungst BD members and highlight Para riders more and more I.e Junior Para riders joining in with youth activities and visa versa.

Grade 7 RDA Championships in association with British Dressage Para

British Dressage are once again hosting RDA classes alongside their Bronze and Silver Para classes at the Summer Championships.
This will take place on Tuesday 23rd August at Hartpury College.
30 riders will be invited from our three Grade 7 classes, with top 5 junior and senior in each class put forward to BD for selection. Please note being placed in the top 5 does not guarantee selection. For more info please contact Emma Bayliss [email protected]

For those competing This weekend Equissage Pulse Winter Para Dressage Championships please see the below info -cancelled 🙏

Dear Competitor,

Due to circumstances out of our control, we are unable to run the Winter Para Dressage Championships on the 18th, 19th and 20th of February. The welfare of horse and rider will always be our priority, and in conjunction with British Dressage; this has been a strong influence in our decision to reschedule.

This event will be rescheduled for Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of March 2022. All entries and stabling will be automatically transferred to the new dates.

Unfortunately, due to time restrictions, we will be unable to run the FSM and Team tests. Anyone who has entered these classes will automatically receive a refund via their horse monkey account.

Anyone who is unable to attend the rescheduled dates will need to contact the office to organise a refund. Please note the office will be back open from Monday the 21st of February to deal will all enquires.

Jo Swain is a Para coach as well as Senior and Youth.
