WHAt THEN IS INIQUITY?
Iniquity is a violation of the right or duty that mankind is under obligation to do. An iniquity can also be a wicked act and immoral conduct or practice. These are harmful or offensive to society and, especially to God. In the bible, the terms, sin, and iniquity, are often used interchangeably.
HOW CAN A PERSON DEPART FROM INIQUITY?
He prunes us so that we can bear more fruit unto His kingdom. Sometimes, discerning what exalts God over what despises the name of God may be tricky. Because what's good before men may not be right before God. So to enhance the ability in you to depart from iniquity, seek deeper spiritual understanding from the Lord.
CONSEQUENCES OF SIN
Sin renders our hearts more calloused. Pride blinds. Idolatry, among many things, keeps us hard of hearing and dull to the perils, pains, and consequences of our woeful estate
