Our Story

Welcome to Charlie Kitten Decor, ( Charlie Kitten- it's my Daughter's nickname) where you will find Hand painted furniture for sale in Shabby Chic style and commissions i’ve completed.

Self taught, i have been stripping furniture/painting / stencilling (since the days of Linda Barker! ) in my first home a 1940’s semi 30 years ago and now a Victorian cottage built in 1881, i love painting furniture and up cycling so took the plunge to set up my own little business after 30 years in Nursing and Fostering. I also collect and sell Vintage home wares, especially Vintage glass cake plates, candle sticks, vanity sets and kitchen bits and bobs. As a child i was surrounded by this stuff and still love it now! Most true Vintage and some modern but Vintage style, i also sell at fairs...so keep a look out for my posts for these events.
