I'm getting some questions about the use of iPads in specific subjects. Today I was asked about music and art, so here is a brief video showing how iPads can be used in those subjects. Just a reminder to year 6 parents that the iPads for Learning registration portal closes on Friday. Please continue to email your questions to [email protected]

I have spoken to many year 6 parents about the iPads for Learning scheme in recent days. Most seem fully aware of the ways in which iPads can be used to be creative and access digital learning materials. However, many of the questions parents have asked focus on how iPads improve the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom and how the use of an iPad is likely to impact on the progress their child makes. In response to this, we have reconstructed some scenarios that take place daily in current year 7 classrooms. Click on the link below to access the YouTube Channel. We hope you find these short films useful and they provide you with the information you need to make an informed decision before the registration portal closes on Friday (25th June). If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Regards. Mr G. Hood.
