In October 2017 I began to restore a 19th Century cottage in a village in the West Midlands and along with restoring the building wanted to be equally sympathetic with the home furnishings and buy authentic vintage and antique homewares. As the build progressed some of my choices no longer sat right with the decor decisions that I'd made, my friends started to ask me if they could buy these pieces

Picked this stunner up last night!

We're getting our fireplace back in use and I found this art deco fireguard for an absolute bargain price.
Sadly, I popped my tyre driving home and had to be rescued by the AA.

I was going to re-frame and sell on this sampler from 1946 but it reminds me why we moved to a village on the outskirts of Cannock Chase.

I need the reminder when the inside of my home looks like this (pic 2&3)
