Launched in 2015, Pep&Co rolled out its fashion brand to over 300 of our Poundland stores. PEP&CO offers customers a full range of women's, men's, and children's fashion – from nightwear to school-wear, t-shirts to trainers. As the PEP&CO Clothing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team within the clothing department, reporting to the Store Manager.

This role comes with the ability to study Retail Team Leader Level 3 qualification through an apprenticeship, (in England, Wales and Northern Ireland).

What you'll be doing as a PEP&CO Clothing Manager....

Lead, and motivate your teams to drive sales to maximise profit and minimising stock loss
Ensure the Pep & Co section is 100% compliant with merchandising standards and guidelines
Deliver excellent customer service in-store, aiming to delight customers through the best service
Complete stock inventory counts in relevant sections as required
Ensuring all procedure are up to date and implemented.
What you’ll need...
Previous retail experience within fashion, either working for a fashion retailer or a concession
A keen interest in fashion and current trends with a creative eye for merchandising
To be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and high standards
A track record of delivering results through effective leadership and coaching
Experience in leading and motivating a team.

HGV 1 Driver Harlow Distribution Centre
Our DC's are well oiled machines but that's down to every single one of our colleagues working hard every day to ensure our products get from A to B. You will be in charge of completion of vehicle check sheet prior to departure, reporting any vehicle defect to the Transport Office whilst making sure you are compliant of transport tachograph legislation.

You'll also be responsible for:

Delivering post to stores.
Collection of pallets, cardboard and cages from stores.
Collection of stock from suppliers or outbases.
Assistance in the offloading of stock at store.
Accountability of completion of driver trip sheets on a daily basis.
In return you will receive a salary of £16.00 ph plus 50p infringement bonus.

Overtime, weekend and night premiums payable

*Earn a retention incentive of up to £2000* (up until the 22nd January 2022)

About You
You'll be an experienced Class 1 Driver with experience in driving Class 1 and 2 vehicles ideally with Store Delivery experience, and it goes without saying that you’ll be used to driving all types of vehicles such as 33ft, 45ft and Double Decker trailers.

- Holder of a full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence

- Maximum 6 points on licence, No drink driving endorsements

- Capable of coping with significant change and a fast paced environment

- Customer focused

- Driver CPC Card with a minimum of two years before expiry

Job Overview:

To carry out all trained warehouse duties assigned to enable the smooth end efficient movement of stock from Goods In and Goods Out and ensure the timely preparation of orders to the highest standard of quality and accuracy.
The job holder needs to ensure that all warehouse duties are carried out efficiently, accurately and safely to provide a high standard of delivery to customers.
The job holder will need to be flexible, once trained, to assist in all areas of the warehouse.

Key Accountabilities:

To correctly carry out any operational functions, once trained to do so, i.e. Goods In, loading, containers and any other reasonable requests
To meet productivity and accuracy targets set by Management
To ensure that the correct procedures are received and loaded prior to customer delivery in line with the company procedures
Ensure that the products sent to the customers are distributed correctly and safely
To avoid stock damage, i.e. through poor stacking, insufficient skink wrap, unsecure loading etc
To ensure that all training relating to Health & Safety is adhered to and any concerns regarding any Health & Safety are reported to the Team Manager and Shift Managers
To safely operate all equipment once trained to do so
Always adhere to safe manual handling techniques
To wear all personal protective equipment supplied at all times within the warehouse.
To report any personal injury, accident or damage to equipment, machinery or premises or stock
To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the depot.

Prioritising own workload and liaising with Team Manager where and when required
Audit Goods in paperwork to ensure process is followed
Perpetual Inventory- Cyclical count of stock within the warehouse
Keying of and responsible for stock adjustments
IDT creations
Completing counts needed in timely manner
Assigning pick slots in accordance with warehouse layout for product categories
Making space for the above by bulking non-moving lines
Full & Empty slot checks
Investigating store claims
Short dated product checks
Quality checking / Spot Checking picked pallets and recording information on database
Be able to use Reach Truck and Single POD
Investigating and resolving Probres pallets
Liaising with other internal departments
Any other non-specific stock related tasks as requested by Team Manager

We work on average 39.37 hours per week however shift pattern is 45 hours one week 33.75 the following week on a rotating basis.

Pay Method - 4 Weekly

There is also two breaks (unpaid) whilst on shift, one 30minute break and one 15minute break.

Job Role:

A multi skilled role covering all aspects of Warehouse Operations including the picking of stock, loading of stock onto our own fleet of vehicles and the replenishment and putaway of all stock. To do this role you will be trained on MHE including LLOP’s, PPT’s and CB (For Reach Truck Drivers applicants must already hold a licence)

We currently operate with 4 shift patterns:

DAY SHIFT

Blue Shift Week 1: Sunday -Wednesday 7am to 7pm (4 day working week)

Blue Shift Week 2: Sunday – Tuesday 7am to 7pm (3 day working week)

Red Shift Week 1: Thursday – Saturday 7am to 7pm (3 day working week)

Red Shift Week 2 Wednesday – Saturday 7am to 7pm (4 day working week)

NIGHT SHIFT

Green Shift Week 1: Tuesday – Friday 7pm to 7am (4 day working week)

Green Shift Week 2: Wednesday -Friday 7pm to 7am (3 day working week)

Yellow Shift Week 1: Saturday – Monday 7pm to 7am (3 day working week)

Yellow Shift Week 2: Saturday – Tuesday 7pm to 7am (4 day working week)

What will I get Paid?

Peak Rate of Pay - £11.00 - £21.00 per hour - From 04/10/2021 - 31/01/2022

Days Average £11.57 during peak per hour for full week worked

Nights Average £12.57 during peak per hour for full week worked

Overtime is paid at time and half ranging from £16.50 to £21.00 per hour



Days average rate of pay after Peak £10.57 per hour probationary rate rising to £11.07 per hour after 16 weeks.

Nights average rate of pay after Peak £11.57 per hour probationary rate rising to £12.07 per hour after 16 weeks.

Ovetime paid at time and a half.
