115 people die by su***de in the UK every week – with 75% of those deaths being male. Su***de is still the biggest killer of men under 50.
If you are feeling like there's no other way out or you are contemplating self harm, please call one of the numbers above - you will get connected to people who understand and care.
Su***de is a permanent solution to temporary problem. And however it feels right now, the problem *is* temporary and help is available to you. You matter, your life matters, you are valuable and you will feel better, in time and with help. Please don't underestimate the hole that your absence will leave behind.🙏❤️
Another lovely review from a happy client. 🙏❤️
Navigating Life's Challenges Together
It was said to me recently, "It's easy for you, you're a therapist; you have it all worked out." And I laughed out loud! Because the truth is, therapists are human too.
We experience loss, heartbreak, grief, sadness, anxiety and worries just like everyone else. We know just how it feels. We don't have some secret shield against life's challenges, but what we do have are tools, strategies and experience in navigating through them.
As a hypnotherapist, I've faced my own storms and learned how to navigate through them. Now, I'm here to share those strategies with you. If you choose to work with me, I promise to bring all my experience, tools, strategies, and passion to help guide you towards calmer waters. With empathy, kindness and understanding.
Remember, seeking help isn't a sign of weakness; it's a step towards empowerment, towards the change you want to see. Let's embark on this healing journey, together. 💪🌟
🔥Can Spirituality and Science live in harmony?⚛️- Part 1
I've always considered myself as a more of a holistic therapist, I believe that true healing lies at the intersection of our own spirituality and science. I've had profound experiences of both in my life Let's explore how these seemingly opposite realms can actually coexist harmoniously:
1. The Dance of Energy: Science teaches us about energy—atoms vibrating, electrons dancing. That energy is never destroyed, it's only changes form. But spirituality reminds us that energy isn't just physical; it's also emotional, mental, and spiritual. When we align our energies, we find balance. When we shift our energies, we get a different outcome.
2. The Mind-Body Connection: Science validates the mind-body connection. Our thoughts influence our health. Our thoughts can generate feelings in our bodies. But spirituality adds depth: our thoughts are like seeds planted in the garden of our soul. W**d out the ones that have no place there and nurture the ones that do with love and positivity.
3. Quantum Mysteries: Quantum physics baffles even the brightest minds! But string theory talks about the connection between atoms, vast distances apart. Yet, spiritual traditions have long spoken of interconnectedness—the idea that we're all connected, part of a cosmic whole. Perhaps science and spirituality are just two facets of the same truth?
Part 2 tomorrow!

Feeling overwhelmed is a normal human experience. It can be caused by a variety of factors, such as stress, anxiety, depression, or simply having too much on your plate.
When you're feeling overwhelmed, it's important to reach out for help.
Here are some reasons why:
💙 It can help you to feel better. Talking to someone you trust can help you to process your emotions and feel less alone.
💙 It can help you to solve problems. Sometimes, all you need is a fresh perspective to help you see a solution to a problem.
💙 It can help you to prevent burnout. If you're constantly feeling overwhelmed, it can lead to burnout.
Here are some tips for reaching out for help:
💙 Talk to a friend or family member. This can be a great way to get support from someone who knows and cares about you.
💙 Seek professional help. If you're feeling overwhelmed and you're not sure how to cope, a therapist can help you to develop healthy coping mechanisms.
💙 Join a support group. This can be a great way to connect with other people who are going through similar experiences.
💙 Don't be afraid to ask for help. It's a sign of strength, not weakness.

🌟 Forgive Yourself and Embrace Loving Kindness 🌟
In the journey of self-improvement, we often stumble and carry the weight of past mistakes. But remember, forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. 🙌
🌿 Practice these steps:
Acknowledge: Accept that you’re human. We all make errors, and that’s okay.
Release Guilt: Let go of guilt and self-blame. You deserve compassion.
Learn: Mistakes are lessons. Learn, grow, and move forward.
Self-Compassion: Treat yourself as you would a dear friend—with kindness and understanding.
🌸 Loving Kindness Meditation 🌸
Take a moment to close your eyes. Breathe in deeply. Imagine a warm light enveloping you. Repeat:
“May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I be at peace.”
Now extend this to others, including those who’ve hurt you:
“May they be happy. May they be healthy. May they be at peace.”

I am very proud to sponsor the Burning Woman Festival again this year! Burning Woman is led and run by women, for women. A place for women to relax, rejuvenate, celebrate, connect, flourish, transform and take time for themselves.
So, in support of their amazing mission, I thought I’d write a post about the mental health benefits of women-only festivals, in particular Burning Woman, and you’ll quickly see why I’ve chosen to sponsor them!
Of course, it's important to spend time with people of all genders. But spending time with women can offer some unique benefits that can be beneficial for your personal and professional development.

Hi all, I’m Richard. Welcome to Polestar Hypnotherapy. I've spent years in the IT and software sales management industry, witnessing firsthand the detrimental effects of stress and poor mental health on those around me. This prompted me to shift my focus and pursue a career dedicated to helping people live their best lives.
In 2003, I obtained my certification as an NLP practitioner, with additional certifications in Hypnosis and Time Line Therapy. Recognizing the advancements in therapy practices and neuroscience, I decided to further my education in 2020.
I enrolled in the Diploma in Solution-focused Hypnotherapy (DFSH) with The Clifton Practice (CPHT), the leading hypnotherapy clinic in the South West. Additionally, I completed the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH) HPD diploma.
Committed to continuous improvement, I regularly engage in supervision and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activities. These efforts ensure that I remain at the forefront of my field and provide the best possible therapeutic services.
I am a proud member of the Association of Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH). Moreover, I am fully insured and DBS checked.
We’re constantly bombarded with images of people living their best lives on social media. They’re always traveling, having fun with friends, and achieving their goals. It’s easy to start feeling like you’re not good enough if your life doesn’t look the same.
But the truth is, social media is a carefully curated version of people’s lives. No one posts about their bad days, their struggles, or their insecurities. They only show the best of the best.
It’s important to remember that social media is not a reflection of reality. It’s a highlight reel. Everyone is struggling behind the scenes, just like you.
So don’t compare yourself to the people you see on social media. They’re not perfect, and their lives are not as perfect as they seem. Focus on your own journey and be proud of your own accomplishments.
Should have booked in advance 😜

Stop hitting snooze on your dreams! 😴
Is that inner critic holding you back? We all self-sabotage sometimes, but it doesn't have to control us. Here's how to break the cycle:
🤗 Recognise the voice: What negative thoughts pop up when you try something new? Identify your self-sabotage triggers.
🤔 Challenge the narrative: Are those thoughts true? Often, they're just fear disguised as logic.
🥳 Set small goals & celebrate wins: Big goals can feel overwhelming. Break them down and reward yourself for progress!
😋 Practice self-compassion: We all mess up. Be kind to yourself and try again. ❤️
🫣 Seek support: Talk to a friend, therapist, or join a supportive online community. You don't have to go it alone!
P.S. Leave a comment below if you struggle with self-sabotage! Sharing our experiences can be a powerful tool.

Sending love to anyone missing their mum this Mother’s Day.
This day can be especially tough when you’ve lost someone you love. Remember, grief is a journey, and it’s okay not to feel okay.
Here are some ways to find comfort:
❤️ Honor your mum’s memory: Share a story, plant a flower in her favorite color, or light a candle in her honor.
❤️ Connect with loved ones: Talk about your mum and the memories you cherish.
❤️ Do something kind for yourself: Take a relaxing bath, read a good book, or spend time in nature.
❤️ You are not alone. If you’re struggling, reach out to a friend, family member, or grief support group. 🫂
Cacao Ceremony Bliss in Bedford ✨
Last night in Bedford was all about good vibes and connections! I had the pleasure of joining Liam Browne on his tour for a wonderful evening of cacao ceremony and meditation.
Anyone else get stuck in that loop of overthinking what to do next? Sometimes, the pressure to make the "right" decision can feel paralyzing. ✋
Instead of getting caught in the overthinking spiral, I'm taking a moment to just breathe. Deep breaths in, slow breaths out. ♀️ This helps me clear my head and reconnect with the present moment. ✨
Remember, even small steps forward are still progress. So, take a deep breath, let go of the overthinking, and just start somewhere. You can always adjust along the way!
Ditch the validation hunt! 🙅🏼♂️
Ever feel like you're constantly seeking approval? Chasing "likes" and compliments, but still feeling empty inside?
Here's the truth: your worth doesn't depend on other people's opinions!
When you stop seeking external validation and start approving of yourself, something magical happens. ✨
You radiate confidence, the kind that attracts genuine connections, not just followers.
You become authentic, living life on your own terms, which is way more interesting anyway!
Remember, you are enough, just as you are. When you own your worth, people are drawn to your inner light. ✨
When I’m not being a hypnotherapist…
I’m holding space and supporting people to unlock their fears, breakthrough their barriers & heal. Not to mention I’m sharing the magic of FULL POWER CACAO too.
I had the pleasure of working with Jess Cunningham, The Prodigal Fox at Firebird Fire-walks event.
We live in a world obsessed with instant results, but great things rarely happen overnight.
Sure, quick wins can feel good, but lasting progress takes time, dedication, and realistic goals.
Instead of chasing unrealistic dreams that leave you discouraged, try this:
1️⃣ Set SMART goals: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This keeps your goals clear and helps you track progress.
2️⃣ Break down big goals into smaller, manageable steps. Celebrate each step, no matter how small, to stay motivated.
3️⃣ Embrace setbacks as learning experiences. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow and adapt.
4️⃣ Focus on the process, not just the outcome. Enjoy the journey and the learning along the way.
Remember, achieving your goals is a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient, celebrate the small wins, and most importantly, enjoy the journey!
If you’re looking for a sign to show you the direction to go in for real and lasting change, here it is!

Mental health is just as important as physical health, but it's often overlooked ⬇️
1 in 5 adults experience mental illness in a given year, and about 2 in 5 teens describe experiencing persistent sadness or hopelessness. These numbers are staggering, and they're only on the rise.
There are many factors that can contribute to mental health problems, including social media, bullying, and gun violence. But it's important to remember that you're not alone. There are millions of people who are struggling with the same thing.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, please reach out for help. Talk to a friend, family member, therapist, or anyone else you trust. There are also many resources available online and in your community.
Here are a few tips for taking care of your mental health:
🔹Talk about your feelings. Don't bottle them up inside. Talk to someone you trust about what's going on in your life.
🔹Get regular exercise. Exercise releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects.
🔹Get enough sleep. When you're well-rested, you're better able to cope with stress and manage your emotions.
🔹Eat a healthy diet. Eating nutritious foods gives your body the energy it needs to function properly.
🔹Avoid drugs and alcohol. Drugs and alcohol can worsen mental health problems.
Mental health is a journey, not a destination. There will be ups and downs along the way, but it's important to keep moving forward. Remember, you're not alone.
This one made me chuckle.. ⬆️
