Some sad news

We unfortunately lost one of our little orphan pet lambs yesterday. Little LillIth unfortunately got bloat overnight and passed quickly in the early morning of yesterday. There was no signs prior when checking on them and nothing we could have done as was already too late 😔 Poor Lilli, your sister Luci will miss you 🐑

Welcome our new addition, this is Lenny 😁

He is a Black Nose Swiss Valais and he will be servicing our non pedigree ewes when he's a bit older.

He wasn't too keen on initial introductions to our Dorset down ram 😅 So, he is currently hanging out with the other ram lambs we currently still have till he settles in ☺️

This little man Hagrid is such a d***y character. He ditched his mum and just strolls about saying hello to everyone 😆 It's going to be such a shame when we have to sell him 😔

Sheep have been sheared. Good to go for another year 😁

Weather was a tad drier today. Hopefully it continues 🤞

Almost 4 weeks difference, didn't realise how scrawny they looked.

They're getting a bit big now, weaning has commenced and they've already started on eating creep. They're going to hate not being house sheep 🤦‍♂️

Lilli and Luci got dirty at the farm seeing their new sisters again so we gave them a clean off and they're nice and cosy at home. Few more weeks before they're joining the girls ☺️

Mary had two little lambs, a girl and a boy 😊

And we have a girl! Agatha just gave birth to a big girl ☺️

Had the privilege of Mr/Mrs owl using our shelter tonight, didn't expect to see that when checking for the sheep on the cctv. Bit concerned it may be interested in our ducks 🫢

Trying to sit down after giving them a bottle, cuddles and strokes and they just stare at you through the door 🤦‍♂️It's like having babies in a toddlers body.

New sheep shelter is now usable and botched up something for the ducks ☺️ Just need the weather to dry out so we can throw down a load of wood chip.

Roof is now up, we're wet and covered in mud but not much choice when the weather doesn't hold out and we have lambs due at any point.
