Vauxhall Corsa auxiliary belt, not designed to be straightforward, engine mount needs to be dropped so you can move the engine up and down to remove bolts, as you can see, this has seen better days. New belt fitted and we're back on the road 🛠️

Full service & ABS sensor replaced on a Honda Civic a while back, finally cleared all the lights on the dash, happy customer 😊

DPF Pressure Sensor pipes replaced on a 2008 Ford Mondeo

Engine management light was on with a DPF code, these diesel Mondeos are prone for these pipes failing, they simply just crumble and stop doing their job

New hoses fitted and codes cleared and it seems problem is solved 🛠🚘

Few late night diagnostic plug ins this week.

Peugeot 3008 with a dash looking like a pilots cockpit

Same goes on the Honda Civic dash also lit up like Blackpool illuminations

Vauxhall Corsa was reported to have been revving up on its own with the EML on the dash.

New brake pads and discs on this Citroen C1

Not got any before pics but the discs were well worn and the pads were almost on the metal, managed to get to them just in time

Brakes usually tend to need replacing anywhere between 30-40k in my experience, depending on how they are being used

Timing chain, water pump and an oil and filter change on this Citroen C1, absolute pig of a job, but finally done.

Chain was rattling on cold start due to the tensioner worn, timing seems to have jumped slightly as the timing marks were off when it came to fitting the new chain

Everything works and sounds as it should and no leaks are present = job well done

New brake pads and discs on this Ford Fiesta.

Discs had alot of grooves and wear on them that you could feel through the pedal when braking

Nice job on this Volvo C30, had a couple of these jobs recently, wiper linkage arm detached from its ball joint meaning on this occasion, only the passenger wiper wasn't working, but the drivers side was...I know what you're going to say, the passenger doesn't need to see 😂 but this is an MOT failure and it is dangerous.

Another one of these clever clips in place with plenty of grease and the driver has his wipers back 🚘💧

2 Wishbones and a track rod end on this Nissan, would have failed MOT without a doubt

Steering was all over the place, felt like the car was on its way home from a night on the lash so we investigated and found play in the ball joints, new parts fitted and we're up and running and more than confident its more than upto MOT standard

Wipers stopped working on this Nissan Qashqai! Not ideal when its absolutely lashing down and you're driving on a dual carriageway 😂

Quite a common thing with wiper linkages, the arms pop off their ball joint and stop the wipers moving completely!

These little clips are a god send, as you can see in the pics, pop the ball joint back into place with abit of grease and slide the clip over the ball joint and the arm and it physically cannot move.

Cheap and easy fix, why replace the whole linkage when you don't have to?

Diagnostic job on a Fiesta that won't start, won't crank, won't do anything.

Plugged our machine in to see what faults we could find and we have an issue with the Powertrain Control Module...this doesn't sound good.

Next job is to find out where the problem lies and how we're going to resolve it.

Made up with this one, wired LED footwell lights into a Kia Ceed and the results are amazing, what a transformation.

These footwell lights are wired in so they come on with the sidelights/parking lights of the car, the red gives it that subtle light which isn't too distracting but isn't too dull not to make a difference.

Very satisfying job and a very happy owner 😊

Ford focus had a power steering issue, fluid all over the road, no power steering and a horrendous noise, most commonly on these vehicles, its the pressure switch on the power steering pump and that was exactly the case here.

New genuine Ford part fitted and power steering fluid renewed and its back on the road 🚘🛠

BMW 1 series, cable on the window regulator snapped, another fiddly job but certainly one that needed doing.

With these cars, there is no frame around the window, when you open the door, the window moves down very slightly, when you close the door, the window moves up slightly, so with the window not working atall, you couldn't open and close the door, nightmare of a scenario 😂

New window regulator supplied and fitted and window set up correctly and were up and running again 🛠

Coil pack replaced on a Vauxhall Astra after it developed a judder along with the engine management light coming on.

After plugging it in with our diagnostics, it was quickly diagnosed that cylinder 3 was misfiring badly, we checked the spark plugs and they were all in good condition, coil pack was the next place to go

Replaced coil pack and the juddering and performance was back to normal 😊

Alternator replaced on this Ford Fiesta, alternator was slightly noisy but wasn't charging efficiently anyway.

Top and bottom radiator hoses were very badly cracked as you can see from these pictures, the pipes were very soft too but luckily we got to them before any major damage could be done.

This was picked up on our Pre MOT check.

Rather strange one with this tyre/lack of tyre 😂 dont see many of these

Customers tyre popped on the motorway and had to be recovered to a local service station where we went and took the wheel off and got the tyre replaced before going back to the service station and refitting the wheel.

Full service and a pre MOT check on this Citroën Xsara Picasso, radiator top and bottom pipes are extremely close to collapsing, the cracks in the pipes are the worst iv ever seen, the pipes are very very soft too, a bit of debris hits one of these pipes and they will puncture.
