I am absolutely proud as punch of myself right now! I’m a flippin regional finalist at The Wedding Industry Awards. This is huge! The most bestest news I have received since the start of this little food adventure. Which actually started 3 years ago this month. With a little box of home made goodies. I’m not only a finalist in the catering category, but also for best newcomer. I mean gee willackers batman… not gonna lie I feel like I’ve already won. And yeah, I’m gonna brag about this forever. This time last year I bit the bullet and entered myself as I knew this year was my big wedding year. But let’s be real, I’m a little fish in a big pond… how do my 15 weddings compare to other amazing companies that cater for double, even triple that number?!? I don’t see the votes but they must have been bloody epic. Thank you so so so much to all the gorgeous couples that took the time to vote… look what it has lead to. I did it! My first table. And what a pleasure it was… to be surrounded by amazing, beautiful women for the @wearecurves photo shoot. It was just so lovely to see the look on their faces when they walked in. And I must say, it was a showstopper. But when they start tucking in and realising most of it was homemade just made it the more special. ‘Oh, where do you get them sausage rolls?’ ‘I made them’ ‘Those flat breads are amazing’ ‘I made them’ ‘Sweet jesus, the brownies are divine’ ‘I made them’ Along with the sweet pepper filling, roasted onion dip, cookies, candied walnuts.
