Hey 👋🏻 It’s been a minute …

We’ve been extremely quiet on here, and in general, for a while. We’ve had a very bespoke Delaney - a baby girl, who is now five months old - keeping us busy.

Here’s our out of semi-retirement piece: a bespoke industrial-style shelving unit. Timber and steel make a great team ⚒️🤩

Same style as the previous cabinet; wood, which has been painted white, with aluminium mesh insert and decorative hinges. Don’t they make a lovely couple? 🤍🖤

Another wood burner delivered today - this time with the addition of a (specially request) wooden plinth, which sits beneath the wood store and adds a layer of protection for that lovely patio.

Bespoke cabinet, made and fitted by us yesterday.

This has a steel and wooden frame, which has been painted white. The two doors include aluminium mesh, which has been sprayed black - a lovely feature - especially when coupled with the decorative hinges and handles. The piece is topped with sanded and stained timber. Fits like a glove and looks like it’s always been there! 🤍🖤

It’s looking like another beautiful day. We actually went out and ate food at a restaurant yesterday, which felt fantastic! Lovely to see everywhere so busy too.

We’ve just completed and had collected our first wood burner of the year. These were so popular last year and certainly kept us busy! This one is slightly different from previous ones - it has the cross design on the wood store, rather than the grates. We think we prefer it; what do you think?

Something a bit different we’ve been working on; a furniture glow-up!🌟

These gorgeous, chunky oak pieces have had their original legs replaced with sleek black steel ones. Swipe for before and after of the coffee table and side table. Dining table top and legs also pictured - it wasn’t possible to photograph the fully assembled piece as, due to the weight of it, it was to be assembled in situ. More photos will follow once they’re all set up in their brand new home!

Follow-up Friday! Is that a thing? Anyway, following the transformation pics I posted earlier in the week, here’s the finished article. Our latest commission: a bespoke wall-mounted breakfast bar.

Made and fitted by us, but it was definitely a collaborative process. So lovely working with to make her vision a reality. We discussed dimensions, design, stain preferences, the lot! And this is the outcome; matte black steel brackets and a timber top, which has been stained this handsome, warm walnut colour.

Voila! Yesterday’s woodwork, all finished: a bespoke, wooden clock surround.

Layered wood, cut, shaped, routed, sanded, stained (teak) and lacquered. The clock now sits perfectly in place.

She’s a classic beauty! 🕰

🔄 Transformation Tuesday 🔄

More driveway progress with the next piece of railing going in. Both driveway and railings aren’t finished yet (grouting and painting required) but we’re steadily making progress.

These railings are, of course, our own work - nothing but the best to house our bins! 🙈😂 I’ll get a much better, nicer photo when everything is done.
