Here’s a new example. A triceratops made from baby clothes with name and a triceratops silhouette added.
It’s easy to add names, dates, quotes, images etc in a range of colours and fonts.
This little fella is created as a thank you for a very special nanny and grandad. Granddaughters hand print is embroidered on the tummy and personalised thank you underneath. Each pad of the foot has nanny and grandad on in holographic vinyl.
All repurposed materials. Highest spec safety eyes and fire retardant stuffing.
Ben bear pattern from funky friends factory
A patchwork memory blanket, made from 20 tiny baby grows and a thick fleece blanket backing and border. The fleece is heavy enough to not need any internal wadding. This one is big enough to have on the sofa and more than covers your legs. It’s great for parent and toddler to share for movie night too.
A free standing giraffe saying hi! Made from a giraffe baby blanket and 2 baby tops for contrasting material. Super cute and soft and cuddly. Its new owner is very happy too.
Used a funkyfriendsfactory pattern, fire retardant stuffing and the highest spec safety eyes. I always stabilise the fabric before starting too as this gives the critter a much longer life, especially if it’s likely to be washed, dried and played with too.
E for Ethan and E for Emily. This big E is a combination of clothes and sleeping bags these two wore in their first few months.
A patchwork memory capital E filled with soft poly fibre. 42 individual patches where no 2 same patches are touching. Definitely a keepsake worth keeping close.
What’s better than 1 platypus?
2!!! These little fellas are more keepsakes made from baby grows and clothes. Off the their new homes today!
Another octopus off to its new owner. Such a pleasure to make! For a wonderful little lady ❤️
Made from baby grows, trousers and jumpers.
All clothes are stabalised before sewing. Safety eyes are always UK CA tested.
He’s all finished now. Loved making him.
Made from a fabulous funkyfriendsfactory.com pattern
Fresh off the sewing machine… Ozzie octopus. A combination from 4 family members clothes. Demin from the parents and baby grows from their 2 babies for tentacles and underside. He’s very nearly finished and then he’ll be off to his new owner.
Pattern as ever from the fabulous www.funkyfriendsfactory.com
And more … so I also made a dragon … Bob … he’s a puppet really that sits across his owners shoulders and can blink his bright eyes and chomp his mouth. The full costume was created for a cosplay event, including cloak and shirt with fake arm. In fact, there were 2 shirts with fake arms to allow wearing the costume the next day. A black dragon with purple eyes with lights behind, and purple wings and purple highlights within the fur. Owner very happy with his now tame Bob the dragon.
A memory blanket supersized, pictured on a queen size bed. A few different features: Superhero was dads, sidekick was big brothers and other sidekick was from the younger brothers baby grow. Everything else is from size premie to 6 months baby clothes and bedding. Diggers and other vehicles were too small to have their own patch so were added on top. Glow in the dark stars from baby’s bedding. Dinosaur spikes are 3d. All sewn into a soft fluffy fleece blanket.
Little miss unicorn, resting before being magically transported to her new forever home. She has blue eyes and brown hair (mane and tail) to match her kind owner, wooden buttons used to form the joints for poseable arms and legs.

Mr sloth hanging around, created from premie baby grows for a wonderful brown eyed boy. Sloth has matching brown eyes and Velcro pads to allow him to chill out in the trees.
